158 . Third holiday of remote city training Part 1

The next morning, after leaving Quinn's private residence earlier than usual, Unja and I headed to the Quinn Chamber of Commerce in the city.

When we arrived at the Quinn Trading Company, we noticed many sub-people gathered around the wagon depot by the store.
When I looked closely, I saw Gambard and Larami Mirele in the center of the group, apparently gathered by members of the mercenary group that I had spoken with yesterday that was heading to Liberty.
 Gambard noticed my arrival.
Yo! General.
I ran up to them with a smile, raising my right hand.
Following that, Larami and Mirele and the members behind them also rushed towards me.

As expected, these members were members of the Gunbird Mercenaries, Larami and Mirele's Laramie Mirele Mercenaries.

All of them rushed up to me.
"Hey, guys. From this day forward, this is our captain, don't forget it!
Gambard called out to the people around him as he did so, and all the members of the group responded to him.
""Okay."
And then he raised his voice.

In the meantime, I'm still waiting for an interview in Liberty by Guard Captain Googs, so the hiring is not yet confirmed, but I couldn't bring myself to talk about it because everyone here is already very excited about it.

When I was talking about this and that with the gamblers
I need to talk to you about something...
As he said this, Gambard asked me about the carriage.
I've heard that the Gambard mercenary group has a special carriage that is said to be heavily armed with magical firearms, and if possible, they would like to take it to Liberty.
However, according to the agreement with the royal capital, it is forbidden to load cargoes equipped with magic guns and heavy weapons onto the magic ship.
Only ordinary arms such as swords and shields could be brought on board.

Now, as I was pondering what to do, Quinn, who was listening to this story nearby, came up to me with a smile.
''If you don't mind, Quinn Trading Company will deliver it to Liberty? There are also flights that carry the cargo overland, so we can transport it with you.
 Quinn offered to do so.
Gambard acknowledged this offer with a smile and
Good luck with that.
As he said this, he shook hands with Quinn.

Not long after, Melanesia and Kiristic came to the Quinn Chamber of Commerce together.
'We just got together there,'
Melanesia laughs as she says that.
Beside Melanesia, Kyristik was still dressed as a man today.
Probably not telling Melanesia........I felt I had to do something to accommodate her in Liberty.......

As I was thinking about this, a regular magician ship from the north appeared in the sky and slowly docked at the magician ship boarding and alighting tower next to the Quinn Chamber of Commerce.
When all the passengers at the royal capital had finished disembarking, the passengers from the royal capital began to enter.

We were the last to enter the ship.
Me, Unja, Melanesia, and Kiristic had taken tickets for a general private room, but since a total of 19 members of the mercenary group are in the observation room, I'm the only one who goes there once to say hello.

In the observation room, everyone in the mercenary group continued to stare out the window, cheering at the scene that was spreading out.
Gambard noticed that I had come, and chuckled.
I'm sorry. These guys are used to seeing the sky, but the view from the magic ship is very unusual.

The Gunbird Mercenaries are a group of bird people, so they can all fly.
As they were cheering at the view from the sky, Gunbird must have followed them.

What I think, Larami started giggling at such a gambard.
'What? What is the one who took the initiative and cheered earlier saying?
 He called out to Gambard.
At those words, Gambard's face once again broke out in a wry smile.

Apparently, Gambard himself was enjoying the view from the magic ship quite a bit.

Not long after, the regular mage ship with us on board left the embarkation and disembarkation tower and began to soar high into the sky.

It would take about half a day to get to Liberty from here, even if we stopped at Batcombe.

Everyone in the mercenary group cheered incessantly as they gazed out the window at the sight of the ship drifting at high speed.
Even the initially quiet members of the Lara Mirele mercenary group were soon joining in with the gamblers in shouting.

I left the observation deck at some point and returned to the cabin.

Inside the cabin, Kyristik and Melanesia were talking as they drank the tea that Unja had prepared for them and looked out the window at the scene.
'It's really amazing that a ship like this flies through the sky on a regular basis,'
Melanesia's eyes sparkled as she said this.
Kiristic, too, continued to gaze happily at the scene outside the window, though he didn't say it aloud.

Unja had prepared a drink for me, and we all spent the time on the empty boat trip drinking it and talking with each other.

On the way, the regular mage ship that docked in Batcombe arrived at the depot in the frontier small city of Liberty not long afterwards.

The ship will later go to the frontier city of Green Convoy, which is located south of Liberty, and will return to Liberty from there.
Although Greenbomb is the final destination, because there is only one person who can regularly take care of a regular mage ship, the Elder Elder Rich Dorn who lives in Liberty, the mage ship will spend the night in Liberty every time it makes a round trip, and will be inspected by Dorn here.

As we disembarked, the scheduled grimoire departed shortly afterwards for the Green Convoy.

As I was seeing the ship off, I noticed that
Welcome home, bear!
As he said this, Korok ran up to me today with a smile on his face.

Korok hugged me the same way he did last week.
'Are you not done with your training yet, Bear? I can't wait for you to be with me forever, bear.
And as he said that, he rubbed his cheek on my stomach.
Tiree, the ancient monster tribe, came from behind and pampered me just like last week, licking me in the face and... in the end, I ended up drenched in Tiree's drool, just like last week.

It's a disaster.
Googs came from the back of Korok and his friends, and he was trying hard to hold back his laughter as he watched me.
And I'm in a terrible situation all over, but I'm trying my best to keep a calm demeanor.
These are all the mercenaries who want to join the Liberty Guard.
This is the Gambard Mercenaries, and this is the Lalamirele Mercenaries.
I explained this to Googus, and he looked around once and
I'm Googus, the Captain of the Liberty Guard. I'll be interviewing for the job afterwards, but well, good luck with that, guys.
He smiled with a snicker as he said that.

Here, a total of 19 members of the mercenary group moved with Gugus to the guard's office.
Gugs would conduct an interview there to determine the final acceptance or rejection, but when he had asked me to secure personnel before, Gugs had
'Well, I'll hire them all unless I'm in a position to do so. After all, we need as many people as possible right now. And all we have to do now is train them.
That being said, well, we'll all be fine.

In the midst of all the chatter on board.
The gambards told me last night at the tavern that I had prepared a regular mage ship as a means of transportation to Liberty, and that I had even paid for the preparations in advance, and that the gambards had told the members of the mercenary group they knew in the tavern.
They've gone back to their buddies with their blood on their hands, so I'm sure they're probably working hard to put together a story for Liberty right now.
If this story is true, then when I return to Quinn Trading Company tomorrow, a new group of guard-hopeful mercenaries may be waiting for me....

With that in mind, I headed for the town hall, with Korok leading me by the hand.
Melanesia and Kyristik followed from behind.

Melanesia was looking at Korok, who was hugging my arm.
'Really ... this city is where sub-humans have normal contact with their race.
While saying that, he was making a sound like an admiration partition.

In my opinion, it's quite normal for me to walk around while being hugged by Korok like this, but if you ask me, I've never seen races and sub-humans walking hand in hand like this in the royal capital.

With Korok still holding me, he took Melanesia and Kyristik to the dining room first, and so
"Korok is a hungry bear.
He smiled at Korok after saying that, but if that's the case, why don't you say a word first to say so....
