When I arrived at the room, the director was taking a bite out of a banana on a large bed. To be precise, though, it wasn't a banana.

It was you guys, the ones who got rid of it.

The director asked as he stared at the ceiling.

'It's Ichijo,' bowed Ichijo.

 He's a polite guy. He's the same.
I'm not going to tell you my name, but I'll cut to the chase.

"What is that thing you're talking about?
You're not. I thought you were the one who killed that man.
No, Herr Harper, this is Herr Nito.

Sierra dared to introduce him by an honorific title. She seemed to divide it up that she was on official business.

''Thank you........Hero-dono, thank you.
"I'm asking you what you mean by 'that'," I said, my tone tightening.
I'm sure it's that man. He was so violent, and I saved his life, and now he's doing this to me.

I glanced at Sierra's face. Sierra shakes her head. Apparently, she hasn't told me anything yet. I suppose she's going to wait until her body recovers, but I can't wait.

'That tiger said that you turned him into a beast, you must have some idea what it was.
...No? The director rolled his eyes, as if to say what he was talking about.
'It seems he was brought into your clinic a few days ago as an emergency patient. The man was very sick, and you used the beastman you had on hand. Then, somehow, the man turned into a beastman--
Wait a minute. Did I just implant a beastman's internal organs? You've got to be kidding me. You wouldn't do that. Even if you get permission, I won't do it. It's true that the king's city has become peaceful and discrimination against beastmen is hardly ever seen anymore, but even so, we still can't do that.
So how do you explain the tiger?
'You mentioned a tiger earlier, but what do you mean by a tiger, Mister Hero? You are talking about that man, then he is a human being, right? Besides, this is my field, and let me tell you clearly, even if we transplanted beastmen's internal organs, there is no way that a human would change into a beast race. White King Knight, please say something from you as well.
'Lord Nito. As I told you earlier, there has not been a single instance of that happening.
Then why did that man have thicker body hair?
There are several examples of this," said the director. For example, we have transplanted stomachs and intestines, and of course these are human transplants, but strangely enough, there are sometimes cases where the previous owner's preferences have been passed down to him or her.
The previous owner's preference?
After the operation, the patient's dislike of rasbier has been replaced by a love for it. He used to hate the scent of flowers coming out of his nose, but now he likes it. We found out that the owner of the organ used for the transplant was a rasubir enthusiast.
.........The donor of the organ used for the transplant had thick body hair?
The donor wasn't a living organism, though. He certainly had thick body hair.

So...what does that mean...what does that mean?
It means that the tiger was not a tiger, but just a human being. He was just a normal human organ transplant and a normal life saved.......
We went on our way to the tiger man who was being detained.

The man was temporarily locked up in a dungeon. The disposition of the tiger man will be decided at a later date.

''That can't be...that can't be right. It can't be. Hey, Mister Hideo, you know that this is the result of that director's illegal surgery.
'Sierra here has checked everything out. In all these years, there hasn't been a single beastman in that clinic for examination. The organs implanted in you are human, too. You were just mistaken.

The man was at a loss for words. He rolled his eyes and repeated, "That can't be true.

'No but I was definitely attacked by a beastman.
We don't know about that yet.
You know who else was attacked?
'No, nothing has happened in this country except what you have stated. The country is as peaceful as ever.
No no no that's not possible. I saw it.

Grabbing the bars with both hands, the man loomed over us.

'It was a strong rainy day I remember,' the man said, baring his gums and smiling hideously. Toa and Nem stepped back behind me.
'Stand back,' says Sierra. My hand touches the sword at my waist.
'I heard a pleasant tone, it was raining hard and I was soaked, but I felt good.'
Music? And Ichijo.
'I was drunk. The sound grew stronger and stronger, and it was coming from the end of the alley. I turned my attention to the end of the alley, as if I were invited to do so. And then.... from behind.

The man suddenly dropped his eyes down and said, "I don't believe anyone, anyway," and sat down at the back of the prison.
After that, he was quiet and didn't even respond to any questions.
