754-Let's go fishing with Anima ③

It had been some time since I started fishing, and it was getting to be a good time, not so much in the evening. I was getting hungry, so we decided to stop fishing around here and cook the fish we caught. Anima caught a lot of river fish, so I could eat a lot of fish.
The monetary value is considerable.......but there is zero edible fish.

I'm not particularly in need of money, so I'm going to release them, but if I release them now, I'm afraid I'll catch them again when I resume fishing for a bit more after dinner, so I decide to release them just before I leave.
Fortunately, the fish would not feel stressed because I had put it in a high performance magic tool that has an extension function using spatio-temporal magic.

Well, even though there was a slight exclamation point, it was the salt grilling that I was looking forward to. I took out the cooking table from the magic box and split up with Anima to remove the slime and prep the fish.
I've heard that you can eat the entrails of river fish that looks like an ayu fish, but I'm not a fan of that particular bitterness, so I decided to remove it.
After that, I skewered it and sprinkled salt on it - wait. Wouldn't it be delicious if you put miso on it and serve it in a traditional way? Good, Miso Dengaku ... okay, let's make half of it Miso Dengaku.

...Master, may I prepare the fire?
'Yeah, I'm fine. I thought you were going to use a magic tool?
Yes, sir.

Nodding at my words, Anima took out a magic tool that looked like it had two pieces of doraku attached to it. Apparently it's a tool that adventurers use to make a fire when camping, and when you stick the one with the magic crystal in the ground and press the button on the other one, it is set on fire.
I imagine it's like a portable gas stove. It was easy to light and extinguish, and they said it was a magic tool that was essential for adventurers.
Anima quickly decided on a location and ignited the magic tool, and after that, she prepared folding chairs and other items around it. Hmmm...she's really good at it, or rather, she's reliable.

''Well, what else do we need to do to stab around this bonfire?''
Yeah, I'll just keep the fire low, and then...
Okay ... that's about right?
I think we're okay. Now I'll turn the fire back up.

Now we're ready to go, and I sit in a chair alongside Anima and watch the river fish burn. Mmmm, it looks so delicious. I was born and raised in a city, and I'd never been camping before, so this kind of situation really excites me.
After it was done to a certain extent, I coated the one I wanted to make into a miso dengaku with miso and grilled it some more.

It smelled so nice and fragrant. It's a nice day, and the view is nice.
I hear the stars are very beautiful at night around here.
Wow, that's great ... was that a waste of a day trip?
Well then, since we're here, how about we spend the night and return tomorrow?
'What? I'm okay with it, but ... is Anima okay with it?

I listen back, a little surprised at the unexpected suggestion. Anima's suggestion itself is pleasing to me. It's a rare opportunity to relax like this... it's also a unique opportunity to use a "super high-grade magic tool that I bought after the Sixth King Festival and haven't used since.
But will the anima's schedule be okay? Perhaps, or rather, she would definitely prioritize me even if she had some plans, but as expected, that's uncomfortable.
So when I asked her in the form of returning a question with a question, Anima gave a wry smile.

'Okay, so it's okay then but I'm a little surprised. I didn't expect that kind of suggestion from Anima... yeah? Could it be, Anima, that you knew I wanted to use 'that magic tool' and you were concerned about it?
''Ah, yes. I wish I could have been proud to say that you're right........
Yeah?

Anima also knows that I bought a magic tool that can be considered optimal for my current situation and I haven't had a chance to use it.
As it was, she wandered her gaze as if searching for words, and then announced in a small voice as if muttering to herself.

These are the reasons.
''Hahaha, I see, that's a reason for me to be happy.
'Oh ... oh, my lord! It looks like it's about time for a good burn!

I was so embarrassed to see Anima, who wandered off topic in a panic, and naturally my face was smiling.
Although it was too modest to be called selfish, it was irresistibly pleasing to see that Anima speaking out about her hopes like this. I really feel relieved when I'm with her, or at least I can feel very calm.
Thinking about this, I reached for the grilled skewers.
