14-Emperor's reaction

The Riesbras Mountains in the south of the world divide three countries. One is Zinor, a small country to the southwest of the mountain range. One is the kingdom of Atul, a small country in the southeast.

And the other is a large country to the north, the Blau Empire.

Eira seems to have lived in the town of the Atul Kingdom, but she doesn't seem to have good feelings for the empire. Rather, she consciously feels that it is an enemy country.

''I heard that that country was as powerful as the Atul Kingdom before I was born. However, the current emperor, Emperor Königs Blau, attacked the neighboring small countries and made them into tributaries, and it is rapidly growing.

I listened to an explanation like that and nodded my head.

''I thought you lived in the royal capital or something, but could Eira have been living in a town close to the border with the Empire?''

I asked that with a strong feeling of hatred, but Eira swept her gaze over and then looked down.

 Have I heard something I shouldn't have?

Anxious, I desperately looked for another topic to try to divert the conversation.

[Emperor Koenigs.

The man stood with his maid on his shoulder, looking at the sky without resting.

He was Königs Brau, the Emperor of the Brau Empire. Gazing into the distance, not caring that his long white hair was hanging over his face, Koenigs simply looked at the sky in silence.

There was a chair behind Koenigs standing on the castle's balcony, and a maid with a luxurious robe in her hand was waiting nearby, but Koenigs didn't look at her.

'Here they come, here they come...!

He shouted this to no one, and Koenigs looked up. The maids put their arms into place to support their forward bodies.

'Oh, oh ... what was that ... certainly not a dragon ...'

Muttering to himself, Koenigs narrowed his eyes.

'What?' No way, is there a mountain floating around? No, there's something on top...

And then Rigan shows up with a large group of people.

'I have gathered the sorcerers.

With that, Riggan and the robed ones appeared, looking up at the sky and shouting.

''Nah, how.''

Is there an island?

Koenigs looked at everyone's mouths in amazement and sniffed.

'That one's too expensive for me to afford. But I'm curious to see what's flying around.'

As he said this, he looked at the long-eared man right behind Riggan.

''Aifa, pick five people who are good at flying magic.

Yes, sir.

The man called Aifa shook his long blonde hair and turned around behind him, quickly picking out five men and women.

'Aifa, lead the way. I will sit in this chair. The rest of you, take the chair and fly.

Ha, ha!

The five chosen men responded nervously to Koenigs's words.

They sat down in their chairs, the sorcerers lined up around them.

'Let's go.'

Have a good day, dear.

At Koenigs's line, Riggan bowed his head and said so.

'Come on, go.'

Upon receiving the instruction, everyone mumbled and muttered in their mouths, and Aifa was the first to jump up. As if pulled by that, the sorcerers standing around Koenigs, their bodies also floated, and they flew into the sky along with the chair Koenigs was sitting on.

As Koenigs ascends with increasing speed as he stretches out, Koenigs raises the edge of his mouth at the clouds and the view of the ground as it descends from above to below.

But the sorcerers gradually slowed down their ascent.

The height would be about a thousand meters from the ground. Aifa, who was still rising without slowing down, noticed the stall and came back.

''It would be best not to push yourself too hard. Flying magic uses a great deal of concentration. The consumption of magic power will increase at an accelerated rate if you cross the limit.

'Good. It's a lot easier to see from here.

With that said, Koenigs looked diagonally upwards, and the island that barely flew in the sky and the roof of the castle above it came into view.

''A flying island....''

I can see the building.

The castle.

Koenigs corrected what one of the sorcerers had said.

The sorcerer guffawed at Koenigs as his face gradually contorted with joy.

Shaking his body on the chair, Koenigs began to laugh out loud as he erupted.

''Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! What a thing! An island in the sky, and a castle built on an island...no, a castle in the sky!

He laughed at one point and looked up at Aifa, not hiding his excitement.

'Go as far as you can! Take a look at the view of the castle in the sky and tell me!

Ha!

Aifa replied briefly and went at once to gain altitude. Taking his eyes away from the figure, Koenigs squinted at the island as it gradually approached.

'I never thought my mind would be so stirred at my age. What a magnificent sight! A castle where God dwells on the very island where he lives!

With that shout, Koenigs spread his arms out and stared at the castle in the sky with a look of envy.

''I want it........I must have it no matter what I'm willing to trade for it......! If I can get that one, I don't need anything else!

As he uttered that, Koenigs continued to laugh like a madman.

[Aifa]

Soaring into the sky and gaining altitude without danger, Aifa reached about two hundred meters below the island.

Stopping his ascent, Aifa opened his eyes to the majesty of the approaching island.

The lower part of the island, where the rocky surface was exposed, revealed artificial walls and holes that looked like equipment of some kind, while the upper part of the island revealed a large garden and countless white dwellings. And then there was the splendid castle rising on top of the hill.

''The castle and the castle town are flying as it is...''

The moment Aifa muttered that in a daze, something small and black appeared one after another from the bottom of the island.

''........What is it? No way, an attack?

Aifa, who had been observing something black for a while after uttering that, immediately remembered that the emperor was below her and began to descend.

''........If they attack us, the empire can't do anything about it.......''

Aifa analyzed the situation calmly, but her face was grim.
