35-The strongest drone

Suddenly, the wind blew and a horse pulling a carriage wore a startling rise in the air.

The thin tornado that stretched out in a straight line in the sky, rolling up the sand, generated a fierce wind and sound right in front of the surgeon, who was sitting on his knees and floating in the sky.

Looking at that tremendous wind, the surgeon raised his eyebrows and roared.

''Ya, I guess I went too far.''

As the surgeon was muttering about this and watching the tornado lose momentum, a black shadow appeared from within the thin column of wind.

The black object that appeared was the same figure as before.

The surgeon's eyes widened at the drone, which not only floated in the same place, but didn't have a scratch on it.

''Eh, what do you mean?''

As the surgeon muttered in dismay, the drone slowly spun on the spot and began to slowly rise.

Seeing this, the surgeon opens his mouth again.

''........What is that?''

The soldiers on the ground shouted out as the surgeon was just pouting, as if he didn't even want to chase after them.

''Master Jutsu! We will attack you from here! Stay away!

"Huh?

An arrow flew by the side of the surgeon, who looked down while returning a raw reply. Hearing the sharp sound of the wind cutting up close, the surgeon arched his back in surprise.

The arrow headed towards the drone as if it were being sucked in, but it was bounced just before it hit the drone.

A round, white ripple spread around the drone, and it was known that it was protected by something spherical.

'Shoot! I don't care if it's a surgical arrow!

As the surgeon watched in dismay as the white ripples floating around the drone faded away, the soldiers' next attack came to his ears.

'Wait, wait! Wait a minute!

The surgeon was unable to stop him in time, and several arrows were shot with fire, ice, and wind wrapped around the arrowhead.

The arrows all faced the drones with terrifying accuracy, and just before they hit, they had a variety of effects.

Flames flared up, the wind blew in and out, and finally they froze.

The next thing I knew, there was a large block of ice about a meter in diameter floating in the air, covered in wind-blown sparks of fire.

The residents were stirred by such a battlefield-like scene.

''Oh, that was close!''

When the surgeon who had succeeded in leaving a moment earlier let out that, the surface of the ice block in the air cracked as if it was a signal to leave.

Then, right after a loud crackling sound was heard, the ice broke into small pieces, revealing an intact drone from within.

''Bah, that's ridiculous!

One of the soldiers shouted that.

The residents, including the surgeons and soldiers, opened their mouths and continued to look at the drone as it rose to the sky without being stopped by anyone this time.

[Taiki]

I look back at Eira to see that the image on the screen has finally returned to normal.

'Oh no, that was a surprise. I'm going to go outside for a moment and check it out.

It could be that I had been subjected to flames, tornadoes, and ice, but I didn't know what principle the far-sighted camera was using to reflect the outside landscape, so I wanted to confirm that as well.

That's what I mentioned, but for some reason Eira nodded, getting strangely excited.

''Wah, can I go see it too?''

'What? I just need to check the camera, okay?

I'd like to see that piece of shit!

Apparently, it was curiosity. Eira has become strangely cheerful since the problems of the Atul Kingdom were taken care of. Maybe there are a lot of things that were bothering her until now, but she couldn't say them out loud.

''Well I hope it's something interesting.''

I muttered and looked at the A1 standing silently to the side. It would be fun if it was a small A1 or something small enough to ride on the palm of your hand, but if it was just a simple digital camera-like thing flying around, you might be disappointed.

No, I would enjoy it if it was a giant crystal or a camera that looked like a magical world.

With all kinds of imaginations in mind, I took Eira and A1 out of the castle and looked to see Maea coming towards us.

''Taiki-sama! There's something coming towards us!

What is it?

I tilted my head at Maia's words and turned my eyes in the direction she was pointing. Then I saw a black, round object flying towards us.

It's probably the farsighted camera that instructed me to show the main gate of the castle.

'Maia, it's probably okay.'

When I told her that, Maea looked back at the black object as if relieved.

But now the theory that it was a large crystal was gone. Too bad.

As everyone looked on, the farsighted camera stopped just enough to show a full view of the main gate.

''Is that Taiki-sama's flying golem that was showing the images on the ground?

"The flying golem!

Maea responds to Eira's question. Maea looks up at the far-sighted camera from below with a glint in her eye.

'No, a drone, I guess. But it's a good thing it didn't break under fire or in the wind. A real drone would have broken down in one shot.

They looked up at the black object, a drone, and said that, and then they looked at each other and tilted their heads.

It looks like a skeletal UFO-like object with only a skeleton, but it's moderately cool.

''Farsighted cameras, I think there were quite a few of them... So if we split the screen up and make full use of it, these drones will be floating in the sky in large numbers?

I have a feeling that if a stranger saw it, it would be a terrifying image.

'Um, isn't this thing called a doron a golem?'

'Well, maybe it's something similar. What should I say?

I twist my head around, unable to answer Eira's question.

I feel like I could call it an unmanned reconnaissance plane or an unmanned airplane, but you wouldn't know if I called it a machine.

'Let's just call it a machine kind of golem, shall we?

The agency.

Agency?

No, because I can't explain it any better than that either.

I almost said those words without thinking about it.
