83-Outside town

An eye-catching group of people walked in amidst a disorderly line of dugouts that didn't seem to be able to keep out the rain and wind properly.

The first thing that caught their attention was an elven man. The elf walks in the middle of the traffic with a stern expression plastered on his neat face and an imposing attitude.

Behind him were a young man and two beautiful women walking side by side that everyone would look back at. The three of them were looking around curiously, raising their eyebrows at the beggars and orphaned children lying on the ground.

And what caught my attention more than anything else were the two golems walking right behind the four of them.

They are slender and slender for a golem, but they are still gigantic in comparison to humans. On top of that, the golems seemed to be beautifully polished as if they were works of art.

''........What, what?''

Two golems...

Some nobleman or something?

Nonsense. Every lord has a carriage with his family crest on it. Maybe it's a wealthy merchant's son. Don't know if it's a girl or a boy.

The four of them and the two bodies walked sluggishly while such voices echoed in a whisper.

''.........It looks like a slum. I've never seen it before.

A slum?

No, it's nothing. Let's just go into King's Landing for now.

As the young man and woman were having such a conversation, the man suddenly noticed a person lying in the shadows of the building. It was a child with limbs that looked like bone and skin. The body was wearing a simple rag-like garment and no shoes.

The child's face was swollen and there was clearly something about it that looked like it had been harmed by someone.

''It's ... terrible. Can't we do something about it?

As the man said this with a divine look on his face, the woman standing next to him with a soft smile on her face smiled in annoyance and walked softly to the child's side.

He muttered something in a small voice, and a little later, the child's exposed skin glowed slightly. Immediately afterwards, the child's trauma heals before you can see it, and the child's expression changes to one of calm.

 A murmur arises.

The reactions of those who had been watching the scene around them were varied. They are divided into those who shout in admiration, those who look at the situation with a difficult face, and those who make fun of it.

''........You're already going to die anyway, you hypocrite.

Someone muttered that in a really small voice, but strangely enough, it sounded good.

At the words, the man raised his eyebrows and almost opened his mouth, closing it quickly.

Then the mysterious group with the golem walked towards the castle gate. They held white bread in the hands of the fallen child....

When the back of the tall golem was also out of sight, a person walked up to the side of the sleeping child who was still receiving the healing magic without anyone else.

'Bread........pure white bread.

Hey, back off. That's mine.

You gotta be kidding me! The sooner the better!

As the garrulous men and shaggy-headed middle-aged women shouted at each other in front of the children, a young woman in a robe stepped forward.

'Shame on you! For all intents and purposes, the bread belongs to this kid!

It was a beautiful voice, like a bell ringing, but powerful. Even those who had been fighting at the woman's shouting stopped moving.

''Tch, slave girl?''

You'll stick out like a little slave.

At the sound of such a voice, the woman who was called a slave woman arched her eyebrows and took off the hood she was wearing, exposing her face. She's a skinny woman with short white hair and green eyes.

The woman looks straight back at her and opens her mouth.

'I am not a slave girl. My name is Leticia. It is true that I have been dropped into third class slavery now, but I do not intend to lose my self-respect. I would never do something so unbecoming as to deprive a child of food.'

She said this admonishingly, and everyone kept their mouths shut. After making sure of that, Leticia walked unabashedly to the child's side.

She then sat down next to the child and picked up a piece of bread.

'Oh, hey!'

After all, you're the one who's gonna eat it!

Some shouted accusations, but a boy at a distance countered them.

'Letitia won't take it away from me! Don't whine to me without knowing better!

The boy shouted at the man who was yelling and complaining, and the man grunted and backed away. Because there were over ten children behind the boy.

'Wow, I'm sorry,'

Hearing the apology, the boy sniffed and removed his gaze. The kids turned on their heels and headed down to Letitia.

'Letitia,'

When the boy calls his name, Letitia opens her mouth with a troubled look on her face.

'Jade, please don't do anything dangerous.

Jade's mouth twitched in frustration as she was accused.

'Because those guys said something bad about Letitia, right? She says she's a slave girl.

'Don't worry about me, Jade, just make sure everyone is safe. You have a lot of magic in you.

''No, I'm an elementary magician. It takes a lot of time...

Jade let out a sigh as she scratched her head at Letitia's words. Looking sideways at the children, each of them noticed Jade's gaze and laughed as they held up what they were holding.

Knives and cubes of wood, twisted pans and pots and pans, broken swords.

Jade laughed dryly as she looked at the children laughing at the children, who were laughing at the weapons in their hands, which were in some ways vicious.

'Ha. I get it. If you guys buy me some time, I'll give you a shot.

Jade said as she cowered her shoulders, and the children laughed out loud in amusement.

None of the children were thin and dingy, and none of them had a decent set of clothes, but their expressions were bright. Letitia and Jade smiled and laughed at them, too.

And Jade and the children. All of them had the markings of slaves on their shoulders, necks and arms.

''........Oh? There's something about the number of people...

Then a young man's voice rang out.

Letitia and the others turned to the direction of the voice and stiffened themselves.

Because there was a man and woman with a golem who should have left earlier.
