1 Prologue Reincarnated person procession

I found myself in the middle of a long, dark tunnel, in a line of men and women, young and old.

As I recall, I had decided to join a company-organized overnight ski trip on a bus, and after boarding the bus, I closed my eyes to sleep until morning. I don't remember getting off the bus and suddenly I'm in a different place - not good.

I could hear someone else in line. "Really?" and "Bring him back to life somehow," or something like that. The person responding to this is the woman at the front of the line, guiding the line. She seemed to be used to it, and she was going through the line as if it was a flow of work.

(Does that mean the bus had an accident...? (Are all the guys in this row dead?)

Is there a heaven at the end of this procession? If there really is an afterlife, then I'm glad to hear that death doesn't equal annihilation, no questions asked. Because I didn't think I was going to die yet either, and I have quite a lot of unfinished business.

But it could be hell at the end of this tunnel, so I can't be too careful.

It's possible that it's just a dream, and it's probably too early to think of anything that serious, but I can't see my co-workers who came with me in the line.

I had flagged that I'm getting married soon, but if I survived, then the death flag is not so effective. I'm glad to hear that, but if I had an accident on a snowy mountain, it would be harsh by all accounts until I was rescued.

Several of the other employees on the trip have been in this line as much as I have been. I tried to move away from the line, but for some reason my legs wouldn't move and I could only move forward, so I couldn't be sure who was there.

The back of what appears to be a female section chief, who has been hitting me hard, is pretty far ahead of me. She was a power-hungry boss who repeatedly criticized my documents and refused to give me her stamp, and threw the last train to the end of the workday, but she couldn't seem to resist the situation, so she stood in line quietly. The intimidating feeling she felt even from her back, or the pride of an honorable species, hasn't gone away, though.

While I was thinking about the inexplicable, a girl in line in front of me, about the size of a high school girl, received something from someone who seemed to be a guide first and walked in the direction of the light in front of her.

The girl, whose appearance was visible as she boarded the bus, had black hair and a figure that fit the word "Yamato Nadeshiko" in a way that was hard to see. She was also on the bus with a friend, but the other one was in a girlish mood - and now was not the time to remember.

There was a woman standing in front of me, dressed in a fantasy-like outfit that looked like it could be from a video game. Her shoulder-length hair is purple and seems to be her natural hair, and she is wearing a short-sleeved shirt and culottes, but the design is not what you would see in Japan. She is wearing a beret-like hat, but if you look at it closely, you can see that it has an intricate pattern on it that makes her look like a wizard.

She was handing something to the people in the queue and sending them on their way. She appears to be droopy-eyed and calm, but her speech is lively and light-hearted.

Next up. Yes, please take this with you. When you go over there, you'll have to go to the guild first to determine your profession. There's nothing good about stopping by.
The Guild? Wait, what the hell is going on here?
''This is the 'Labyrinth Country' ahead. Your souls have been taken over and reincarnated in the Labyrinth Land. You will not be able to choose any other reincarnation destination, so please do not hesitate.

He had other questions he wanted to ask, but he couldn't get them to explain more than that right now.

''Since I also live in that town, except when I'm giving a reincarnation guide. If we have a connection, we may meet again.

I wonder if he's not a god or an angel or something like that. It seems to have some kind of special power, but I'll leave it at that for now.

I got a sturdy-looking bill from my guide, one larger than a paper bill and made of a leather-like material, and proceeded toward the light ahead.
