59 # 59 Four Tenno, and rescue.

The dungeon was located in a house at the end of the curving circle to the west of the pavilion. As expected of Tsubaki-san with her dog tags, she couldn't get inside any part of it, so she had Leen cast the Invisible spell on her as well, and all three of them became invisible (although Leen said it wasn't invisibility) and sneaked inside.
They passed through the guard's room waiting inside and descended the stairs to the basement, which was constructed of stone.
It was a stone and wood cell, in which an old man was sitting with his eyes closed. The old man was a huge man with a long beard and gray hair, with several deep wrinkles floating on his face.

'Who is it?'

We were startled to stop in our tracks by a voice that came out of nowhere while we were still sitting in meditation. He has disappeared, and yet this person has sensed our presence.

'Baba-sama, this is Tsubaki. I'm here to help you by order of Kosaka-sama. Where are Naito-sama and Yamakata-sama?
'In Kosaka...? Hmmm, so it was a lie that he had joined the ranks of Kansuke. He's completely inedible.

Baba Nobuharu, one of Takeda's Four Heavenly Kings, with the corner of his mouth hanging up, chuckled.

Naito and Yamakata are in the inner prison. Forget it, why don't you just show yourself?

Baba raised one eyebrow as Leanne broke the spell and looked at us as we would have come into view.

'Who are you two over there? I've never seen that before.
This is Tokugawa-dono's guest, Fuyao Mochizuki-dono and Lean-dono. Mochizuki-dono is so skilled that he single-handedly defeated 15,000 demon masked soldiers who attacked the Tokugawa.
What?

Old man Baba's eyes widened. I mean, there were fifteen thousand of those? No wonder the map should be filled with targets.
The old man looks at me in disbelief, but for now, we have to do something about this prison. I'd blow up the place with magic, but that's just too obvious. What can I do?

Modeling.

A minute or so later it was completed and Baba's old man came out of his cell.

'You do some pretty amazing things, kid.

You're a little boy. Well, I'm a lot younger than you. I don't dare say it, but the fairy girl next to me is a lot older than you.
I take the foul-mouthed old man with me and move along the back path to another sitting dungeon. There was a sitting dungeon built on either side of it.
In the right-hand zashiki dungeon, a man with a calm face, a day-lamp, or an office worker on the verge of retirement, and in the left-hand dungeon, a scarred, sharp-eyed old man with scars all over his body and eyes like a veteran warrior were sitting.

Oh, Baba-dono. I'm glad to see you are well.

A salaryman by the window calls out to me, smiling.

''It looks like something interesting is going on, Baba-dono. If you're going to be a riot, I'd like to be a part of it.

The wounded man here smiles happily and stands up and comes over to the grate. Seeing the two men, Baba's old man lets out a dumbfounded sigh.

'Naito. Naito, you need to be a little more tense. You always have a smiling, relaxed look on your face. On the other hand, Yamakata. You need to think a little more. It's not enough to fight with everything.

Hmm. So the salaryman by the window is Naito Masatoyo Naito and the old man covered with scars is Yamak Prefecture Masakage.

"I'm sorry, kid, but can you let these guys out too?
Okay. Would you stop being a little boy?

A muffled look on his face asked for a correction, and Leanne opened her mouth to the old man.

''In case you're wondering, that boy is a candidate for the next king of Belfast, so you'd better be careful how you talk to him, okay?

Not only the old man, but the other two were raptured by these words. No, there's certainly no mistaking what Lean said, but that way of saying it is a bit tricky. I don't condone it yet, for one thing.

'Really? Hmmm, but I feel like it's not a good idea to change it now.... Well, just be a little boy.

Leanne laughs and shrugs at old Baba's line. No good. He's the type who won't listen to me even if I tell him.

''I'm going to call you Fuyu-dono.
Well, I'll see you in the winter.

The old man Naito and the old man Yamak Prefecture both said whatever they wanted. So Takeda is all free people, huh? I would have loved to meet this guy named Shingen who had these guys under his thumb, at all.
Using 'modelling', he frees them both from the sitting room, just like his grandfather. Then I had Lean apply 'Invisible' again, and we all climbed the stairs to get past the guard, and escaped from the dungeon.

'So what are you going to do now, Your Majesty the Next King?

Naito-san spoke to me with a smile, as if amused. That's what you call it. I tell her what I was thinking about.

'After we get you out of the building, we're going to capture Kansuke Yamamoto ourselves.
Hey, hey, that's not happening. Take me with you, Fuyuuya. That bastard owes us a lot of money.

The old man in the mountain prefecture snaps his finger bones with a crisp, wry smile. It's scary in so many ways when he does that with his scarred face.

'Kansuke will be surrounded by demon masked soldiers and he himself will use strange magic. He's not human. Can you beat him?

Old Baba's old man says something strange to me. What does he mean? Naito-san opens his mouth as if to take over the words.

'In the past, Yamamoto Kansuke served Shingen-sama as a military strategist. He was an excellent man and a smart man, and was a perfect military strategist. But one day, he obtained a 'treasure trove' that contained the power of the devil. But one day, he got the "Treasure Ball" with the power of the devil in it, and he started to go mad. He killed cats and dogs as if he were testing something, and it didn't take long for it to eventually become a human being. Then he created a "demon mask" that controlled his dead body and gave him a powerful power. We couldn't stop it. It's very hard to match the power of that 'treasure ball'...

Did that "treasure ball" or something like that cause Yamamoto Kansuke to go crazy? It bore the power of a demon........huh? Could that be the Artifact that controls corpses?

''What do you think, Leanne?''
I'm pretty sure that this jewel or whatever it is drove me crazy. It's said that artifacts that are too strong can sometimes have a will. It's said that artifacts that are too powerful can sometimes have a will, which could be the result of the creator's resentment or obsession.

A grudge........that sounds like a cursed item, doesn't it? But it's easy to understand when you think of it that way. Yamamoto Kansuke, a military strategist in Takeda, had his consciousness hijacked by the cursed jewel and went crazy. So, if we destroy the jewel, it will solve the problem, right?
I ask Tsubaki-san, who was beside me, "So where is Kansuke now?

'So where is Kansuke now?'
We think he's probably in the middle of a mansion in the middle of a circle, but...

I took out my phone and searched for Yamamoto Kansuke, but no hits. Hmm? He's not here? Well, no. I tried searching for Lean to check, but I didn't get any hits on that either.
Maybe it's the warding. It must be preventing the "search" from interfering. Surprisingly troublesome.

"Tsubaki-san, which way is the middle circle?
It's... it's just up that way.

Tsubaki-san skipped the visuals with Long Sense in the direction he was pointing. I wondered if this would also be affected by the ward, but it was nothing. Maybe it's because this is a spell I cast on myself.
When I was about to leave the large garden and look around the mansion, a man came out of the mansion in the garden.
A black kimono and black hakama, dark skin and an eye patch over his left eye. So this is the perfect helper.
Bringing his vision back, he asks Lean what he can do to break the wards. 'I've rescued the Four Heavenly Kings, and the moment they find out, I'll transfer to the Kansuke, so it won't be much of a problem.

''Probably the four corners of this pavilion are placed with magical talismans. All you have to do is destroy one of them.
I know where it is. Come on.

We follow the lead of the old man in Yamagata. Because of the effect of "Invisible", we arrived at the place without being noticed by anyone on the way.
In the corner of the wall, where there is a small space, there is a Jizo made of stone. It was about the same height as Paula's.

There is no doubt about it. This Jizo itself is one of the protective talismans.

Since it is called a talisman, I was expecting something like a bill, but I was wrong. It is said that the talisman here is meant to be a talisman, and there is no specific shape.

Then, I'll break this and transfer to Kansuke's place right away, is that okay?
No, wait a minute, kid. We're not going to be able to go unarmed. Do you have a weapon?

That's not what I'm talking about. What Baba's old man says is also valid, but the only weapons I have are the New Model Army gun and the sword rifle Brunhild. But I can't lend you either one of them, so....

''It can't be helped. Let's make one.
""Do you want to make it?"

Ignoring the eyes of the Four Heavenly Kings who said, "What is this guy talking about?", he took out the steel left over from making the bike from 'storage'.

'Spear? Or do you have any requests?
'Oh? Yeah, that's fine with me, but Naito would appreciate having two daggers and Yamak Prefecture's would appreciate having a large sword...
Yeah.

Deform the steel by "Modeling". First I made two simple daggers. Then they made a large sword and finally a spear.
The three of them received each of the weapons they had made and tried swinging and turning them.

'I didn't know you could make something like this in the blink of an eye.... That's amazing, Fuyao-san.''
"I thought it would be heavy in steel up to the hilt but it's lighter than I thought, this spear. The balance is a bit odd, though.

I made the handle hollow to make it lighter. It's like a steel pipe with an ear tip. It's just one lump of steel by itself, so I think it's durable, but I can't guarantee that it's going to cut.

''Then are you ready?''

Everyone gave a small nod at my confirmation. I pulled the New Model Army from my waist and reloaded the Explosions (small) granted bullets from my waist pouch.
I held the gun up to the Jizo in front of me. I felt like I was being punished for something, but I'll let you get that out of my system. Without thinking about it, I pulled the trigger and the Jizo exploded into a piece of wood.
