323 # 323 President of the Senate and the end of the war.

Hey, Ende! What the f*ck are you doing?
Who are you?

Frowning, he turns his hostility toward me as usual. What is this guy saying? Is this a joke?

'It's the winter night! Fuyao Mochizuki!
I don't know.

Look out! This bastard didn't hesitate to cut us in!
Not Ende? ...no, I'm pretty sure it's him. You want to play a little sick?

"...Hey, can I tell you what happened to Mel?
Mel...?

With a twitch, Ende reacts and stops moving. My gaze swims as if I'm trying to remember something. Amnesia........or brainwashing?

What are you doing? It's the enemy! Kill him!

When a voice from the Senate President flies in, Ende shakes his head and cuts in again. d*mn, that's a pain in the ass! All right, let's just keep him quiet for a minute.

"[Prison]
!

Ende was trapped in a pale translucent cube. The three cubic meters of that ward is hit, and Ende, who rushed into it, falls to the floor.
He swings his sword and kicks it with his feet, but 【Prison】 doesn't freak out.
It's useless. Once you're trapped inside this, it's impossible to escape or destroy it unless you have the power of a god.
If only it wasn't for the characteristics that determine the strength depending on the size of the first deployment, even the advanced species could be contained.
Well, we'll think about Ende later, but we have a lot to ask that old man.

''Son of a b*tc*!
Die!

The two remaining escort knights slashed at him. They were quite skilled, but I felt that they were inferior to Ende. I lightly ducked and looked at them each with a punch to the tip of the chin, and they easily fell down.

"You......... Do you know who I am? The uniting chancellor of the senate, Morlock Lapidus. Stand down!
I don't know. I know you're an old man who clings to power.

He turns to the old man who is yelling at him with a blue streak on his forehead and says what he thinks he's going to say.
He has a mix of gray hair and beard, a chic but fancy gold-embroidered robe in places, and a staff that looks like a king tin in his hand. He was tall with a slender build and an eagle nose, with arrogant eyes and wrinkles on his face.

'Well, I don't give a d*mn about you. For that matter, what did you do to that man?
That guy? Oh, I see ... you know the man.

With a grin, the Senate President holds up his staff.

"That man," he says, "was dying in the castle when he was picked up by my men. He had all sorts of strange objects in his possession that I had never seen before and I tried to find out where he got them, but he had lost his memory. But I gave him the name Weiss and specially trained him to follow me.

Death and amnesia? Well, then, I might be able to manage it with [Recall].
I mean........what do you mean by dying? Who did this to you, this guy?

'Some of his possessions were this wonderful thing. The most powerful golem ever!

The Senate President took out from his pocket a piece of glass that looked like a prepalaat. As I recall, that was........
Crack! And the Chancellor shattered a piece of glass in half with his fingers.
Instantly, a dazzling light flooded around them, breaking through the ceiling of the great hall and revealing a huge armored knight.
A slender and sharp silhouette in two-toned white and black colors. And the most distinctive feature, both wheels on the heel.
Standing there is the Dragon Knight 《Dragoon》. It was the frame gear I did for Ende.
Hey hey........what is being taken away from you, that idiot.

''Hahaha! You don't seem to have a word for it! So much for you!

The dragon knight "Dragoon" crouched down, and the Senate President climbed into the cockpit with a lightness that was hard to imagine for an old man of nearly 70.
The frame gear has been modified so that even an amateur can move it reasonably well. It's as simple as an arcade cabinet or a video game controller. And it does its own movement assistance.
 But.....

"You foolish person who defies me! I'm gonna crush you! 'Wahahahahaha!'

I can hear the old man's growling voice coming from the external speaker, but I ignore it and operate my phone.

''Hahahahaha........Nuh-uh? What's the matter, why isn't it working! It didn't work without incident before.

A panicked voice leaked out from the speakers. The dragon knight 《Dragoon》 that the old man rode in on was crouched down and didn't seem to get up.

''Move! d*mn it! Yeah, move it!

While listening to the voice that was leaking out, I unlocked the manual opening and closing lock next to the cockpit hatch and pulled the lever.
With a bash, the cockpit hatch of the dragon knight 《Dragoon》 was easily opened with a sound of air being let out.

''Hee!
''I'm sorry, but I'm the one who made this. I'm not going to be the original master of this golem.

To be exact, it was the Dr. and Rosetta and the others who made it.
The frame gear is equipped with an emergency stop system for situations like this. You can't lend it to another country unless you're tight with that part.

''Uhhhh, ah!

[Levitation] pulls Chairman Morlock out of the cockpit. Jittering and struggling in the air, he tries desperately to get away from me, but it's no use. As I lower the chairman to the floor as it is, Lord Zerolik comes over to me from behind a pillar.

'Oh, oh! Lord Xerric! Cut him down! They're tramps who bow to the divine Empire!
I can't do that, sir.
What?
At this moment, they have taken His Highness Prince Listin hostage. I'm afraid there's nothing I can do for you. I'm very sorry, Chancellor.

He said it very clearly. I don't know how you can say that, but it's because you've got a hostage situation.

You! Can't you at least tell me what's more important to this country, me or that worthless son of a b*tc*? You're a fool! You'll be executed for treason, too, huh?
That's enough. Shut up.

I was uncomfortable listening to him, so I put a stun bullet in the chairman's back. I don't know what they say about treason. It's not easy when such things are prowling around, this country is in trouble.
When I turned my eyes of sympathy to Lord Zeloric, the [Prison] behind his gaze, bakin! It shattered with a sound, and Ende popped out from inside.

''What?

Ridiculous! Even though he didn't put any divine energy into it, there's no way a normal attack could destroy it if it was that strong...!
In Ende's hand, two swords, long enough to be daggers and short enough to be long swords, were held in both hands. A short sword? I didn't know they had that stuff. But that was.........
I ducked the two sword tips that were brought out and deployed magic in front of Ende's eyes.

''【Come on, thunder and ice, a hundred thunder ice mists, Voltic Mist】!
Ugh!

Ende, whose right hand was wrapped up in the fog that suddenly appeared and stuck out, was electrocuted and dropped the short sword. Quickly I pick it up and retreat back, checking the sword in my hand. .........I knew it.
What rises from that shortsword is divine energy. There's no doubt about it. This is a divine artifact a weapon made by a god.

'Where did you get this stuff, this guy........'

A sacred weapon is the last hope that a god gives to his people to destroy the evil gods, evil gods, or their relatives born on earth. Brave men, for example, wield them as representatives of the gods, and they are left as legendary weapons in myths.
However, it was said that if one mistake was made, the sacred artifacts could become a seedbed for new evil gods, so when they were done, they would be destroyed or recovered, or replaced with replicas.

''Ha!

Ende thrusts out the remaining shortsword in his left hand. d*mn, oh my god, you annoying bastard! Come to your senses, for God's sake!

[Accel Boost]!

The maximum acceleration magic instantly dives into Ende's bosom in an instant.

''Nah!''
I'm not a fan of this. I'm not going to be able to get a hold of you.

A single relentless slap was slammed into the side of it, and then an uppercut fist was slammed straight into its gut.

'Bufuhah!'
Go back to sleep.

He held his stomach and bent down, dropping his sword on Ende's neck. He dropped the divine weapon in his hand and collapsed headfirst onto the spot.

'Should I have hit him a couple more times?

I don't think I have my share of annoyance fees yet, but I'll let it go for now. Heck, don't take advantage of me for good.
I pick up the two divine weapons and shove them into 【Storage】 and lock Ende up again with 【Prison】. I'll leave the revival of the memories for later. It's a hassle.
I reduce the 【Prison】 containing Ende to the size of a dice and put it in my pocket.
Unlike 【Storage】, it doesn't freeze for time, so if I lock it away for too long, I won't be able to go to the bathroom, and it'll be in trouble. Let's get some errands done as soon as possible.
The chancellor, who is stuck, is also locked up with [Prison] in the same way, and we head to the imperial palace where the emperor is, guided by Sir Zerolik. Of course, I've also retrieved the Dragon Knight [Dragoon].
If we caused this much commotion, it's only natural that onlookers and guards would gather around us, but before that, we disappeared with [Invisible] and quickly entered the imperial palace. It seems that we originally needed the permission of the Senate to enter here.
The inside of the Imperial Palace is rather simple or plain for an emperor's residence.......it seems somewhat inferior to the Senate's Capitol building I mentioned earlier.
There aren't many knights and golems on guard, and the emperor here really doesn't seem to have much power. Even if it's an overly opulent structure, though, it seems like it might be a problem.

''Your Majesty!''

When Lord Xerric opened the door of the room at the end of the corridor, a man in his fifties who was reading a book in a room that looked like an office looked up at him in surprise.
The white-haired, white-bearded man with round glasses was more of a civil servant than a warrior. Is this the Emperor of Triharan? I don't feel much dignity or anything. There's a friendly vibe to him though.
What is it? I'm scurrying around in surprise, but........oh, I forgot to deactivate the [Invisible].
His Majesty the Emperor is startled again by our sudden appearance, and he almost falls off his chair.

''Whoa! Wha, Ze, is that Lord Zeloric? You're supposed to be in Raven, Primula...
I have come to you for an urgent decision. We are on a matter that could determine the fate of the God's Empire.

To His Majesty the Emperor, whose eyes were fluttering, and who was in a state of incomprehension from the looks of it, Lord Zeroric held out the letter from Lystis and began to explain from the beginning.
At first His Majesty the Emperor looked troubled, but when I took out the motionless Chancellor from the [Prison] and rolled him to the floor, he now began to listen to Sir Zeloric's story with serious eyes.

''I see.......It certainly seems to be an important matter for our country. Who's this! Call Rupheus and get rid of him!

The Emperor ordered, and one of the knights at the entrance to the room ran off somewhere.
I asked Sir Zeroric, who was standing beside me, in passing.

''Who's Rupheus?''
The Crown Prince of our country.

So that means he's Ristis' brother. Since even His Majesty the Emperor is treated like this, I guess we should know how the Crown Prince is treated.
Soon, the knight who left earlier returned with a young man who looked like the crown prince.
He had the same blonde hair as Ristis and was in his early twenties.......he was handsome, but like His Majesty the Emperor, he wore glasses and had a bit of an intellectual look to him. He was not the type to take up a sword and stand on the front lines by mistake.
Upon entering the room, His Imperial Highness was first surprised to see the Senate President lying on the floor, but as he listened to the Emperor's Majesty and Lord Zerolik's talk, something about the color of his eyes gradually changed.

''Father! This is a unique opportunity! It's time to dismantle the Senate and restore order to the God Empire! It is only by following him and avoiding war with Primula that we will restore peace to our people!
Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah.

He's making such an incredibly passionate speech that even His Majesty the Emperor would be a bit taken back.......
Well, I wonder if this Crown Prince has been forced to get engaged to the daughter of the Senate President lying around here? I heard that she was an older woman with a bad character.......but I wonder if she really didn't like that.
I heard later that she was an extremely twisted woman over forty with an extremely twisted personality, and that it was impossible to tell whether she was a man or a woman based on her face alone. The desperation of the crown prince was also a point of contention.
The Senate was the decision maker in this country, but they weren't the ones who made the country function. Even if the Senate was crushed, there would be some chaos, but in time it would function as normal again.
It seems that the Senate saw the Emperor as a replaceable pawn, and they thought of themselves in exactly the same way. That's a very touching story, isn't it?

I understand. Then Rupheus is going to take his Kingsguard and conduct a thorough search of the Senate President's residence. There is a mountain of evidence that will show that he has drained the state budget like hot water. Lord Xerric, withdraw your troops. I will make peace with the Kingdom of Primula.
What do you want to do about this?

I point to the Chancellor, who is paralyzed by paralysis.

I'm taking them in reverse order but I'm taking them to the dungeons until I find the proof.

Well, it's essentially a dungeon after the evidence is found. From what I've heard, it sounds like he's making a false accusation. I'm a guilty man, and I'm sure of it.
I'm sure the other senators will get away with it, but let's just say that they will pay for their past indulgences.
Prince Rupheus hurriedly walked to the chancellor's residence. He seemed to be filled with resentment. It's not hard to see why.
I asked His Majesty the Emperor to write a letter of intent to the Kingdom of Primula, which he accepted, and then he and Lord Zerolik first transitioned to the divine Imperial Tabernacle in Leven, which was being turned into a battlefield.
Sir Zerolik immediately ordered his troops to retreat, but some of the nobles who lean toward the Senate began to complain. Apparently, they were expecting a war to plunder the city.
But when I told them about the imperial edict that I had been entrusted with and that the Senate had been dismantled, they turned pale and didn't say anything else.
These guys are doing something that makes your hands go behind your back, aren't they? I saw that he was impatient when he found out that the Senate, which had been behind him, would be gone. Well, it seems that Lord Zeroric can see that.
He gave a firm order to retreat, and now leapt to the royal castle of Primula.
When I delivered the Triharan Divine Empire Emperor's letter of intent to King Primula and told him that the war was over, everyone was uniformly pouting as if they had lost their voices.
Isn't it unreasonable? It had been less than six hours since I arrived in this country. In such a short period of time, two countries were out of harm's way.

"I don't know how to thank you...
Don't worry about it, sir. I wouldn't have come to this world without the transmigration device your ancestors built for me. You can thank him later.

With everything taken care of, we headed to Lystis, who was being held captive. When he finds me, King Primula, and Sir Zeloric coming into the room, he rushes over with a look of relief on his face.
Sir Zeloric speaks in a straightforward manner about the events in the God Empire.

''I see! The war has stopped!
'Yes, sir. The Senate will be dismantled, the Chancellor captured, and the Divine Empire will enter a new era.

Lystis squeals with delight at Lord Xerric's words. So she's finally freed from her false appearance. It's a good thing to be happy and satisfied for now.

I've got a lot of problems over here, though.

Looking at the [Prison] with Ende in it that I took out of my pocket, I couldn't help but sigh.
