Meh! Meh!
"[W]ugh.

The lambs are chasing a lamb. If you don't know anything about it, it looks like a sheep being attacked by a wolf, but that one is playing nicely, apparently. Near me, a queen and an old sheep getting along? Sleeping.
This is one of the farming villages around the neighbouring town, one of the villages where I once asked if I could buy a lamb. And I came to buy one because I heard a lamb had been born.

We reduced our trips to the port city to a few times. There are plenty of adventuring groups and wolves, and they can carry a good amount of wood in their magic bags without me. But I can't carry a large amount of it to hide the presence of the magic bag, but that's only if I increase the number of times I go back and forth. So I left the job to you.
The only time we'd go was when we were going to buy fresh seafood. If we had seafood, the cooking group would use it and I would want to eat it too. But if we went every time, the "item box" would be full of seafood, so we only went once every few times.

It seems that we didn't go to the port city, and instead worked only with the adventurer and production groups, so we have a new business partner.

"Hey, you guys, show me that tree.

When the adventurers were carrying wood to the port city, they were accosted by some artisan-like men, who seemed to be shipbuilders and came to see what good quality wood was being brought to the port city orphanage. I've heard before that the wood from the dragon forest is of good quality, and it seems to be excellent not only for woodwork and houses, but also for ships, and they asked me to sell it to them.
Since there are many kinds of wood, of course, only wood that can be used for ships, but he said he would like to bring more of the wood at a good price.

We left the harbor town in charge of its affairs, and we went out on adventures and logging trips deep into the forest. But because we didn't go to the port city as often as we should have, my sisters said it was boring! I said. I certainly enjoyed the trip, so I don't understand the feeling. So I talked with the director and got permission to go shopping in the next town. Leafy greens are fast-footed, and some of them lose their flavor after they're harvested, so having an "item box" is useful. Of course, we would need a guardian - a queen, grandparents, and grandmother - for the trip, but since we were the usual members of the group, we didn't have to worry about them.

So, after a few trips to the next town to buy some food, we went to the village to see the lamb that had been born.

'Meh~'
Meh-eh-eh.

The village was dotted with wheat fields and vegetable fields here and there. In a world where the means of transportation is not well developed, it is impossible to grow the same vegetables. The exception is long-lasting vegetables. It was like they were coming to the next town to sell vegetables they couldn't eat.
And in the rural villages they had sheep and goats. Some villages have cows (animals, not monsters), apparently. As for the lambs, they gave them away because there was still room in the village for sheep. If there is no place to sell them, they just eat them, so they are grateful for the cash income.

I was taken to a place where the sheep are led by the villagers.

"[M]eeks~

The moment I saw the queens, the sheep screamed and ran away. Most of my ranch is my squire, and they're all very close to me, so I forgot about it, but normally they'd run away if they saw a wolf. Come to think of it, the Kobolds were afraid of the Queen at first too.
Amidst all those fleeing sheep, there was only one sheep that approached the opposite. A lamb. I thought it would instinctively run away, but it was just curious. It is not only the lambs, but also the wolves, who are doing the same. Of course, they don't bark unnecessarily. The lambs and the wolves run off together.

"Huh? What's wrong with that one over there?

As I followed the little wolves running around with my eyes, I saw Potts and the sheep dozing off.

'Yeah, he's old enough to have given up on running.

Apparently, he was the oldest man here and his body was weak, so he didn't run away. When Queen approached him, he glanced over and went back to sleep. The queen liked the sheep as well, and lay down next to him.

'Well, if you don't mind, can you sell this one too?
Hmm? Well, okay, but it won't last that long, will it?

I asked the villagers to buy an old sheep along with me. A sheep that isn't afraid of wolves is precious, and with my recovery magic, it might be able to live a little longer.
We took the two sheep back to the orphanage.
