2002 Episode 2002

"Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,"

When Ray sees a set basket taken out of the mistling, the woodcutters and villagers scream.
In such a rural village, it is very unlikely that anyone has ever seen an item box as a matter of course.
Therefore, everyone must have been surprised at the scene unfolding in front of them.

"Well, I'm glad you've surprised me, but I don't have much time, so I'd like to go to the next village if possible."
"On this... ride?"

It was one of the woodcutters heading to Gillum who asked Ray.
give an uneasy voice as if one were going to ride this
He looked like a woodcutter and had strong muscles, but that was why his tone of uneasiness.
However, flying in this world is rare, except for a special case such as a Dragon Knight.
In that sense, though he had a strong body, he could have been frightened.

"Oh, yeah. Don't worry. I've used this set basket quite a few times, but I've never had any problems. Especially this time, I don't have to be too scared because I don't travel that far. ... In that sense, I think it's lucky to have the experience of being able to fly."

In a way, it's a difference in thinking.
The act of actually flying is very rare, and whether or not the average person who lives normally will experience it once in a lifetime... no, it's very unlikely.
In that sense, as Ray says, it's definitely lucky to be able to fly.

"Oh, really? Well, now that you say that, I guess so."

Did you really take Rey's words, or did you think it would be disgraceful to do something scary here?
I didn't understand that, but the woodcutters who were talking to Ray...who seemed to be the leader among the woodcutters heading to Gilm from this village, said so, and the woodcutters who went with him nodded as if they were convinced.

(Huh? Is this what you're aiming for?)

By the appearance of the woodcutters, Ray thought so somehow, but now that he was in a hurry, he needed to leave here as soon as possible.
Even today, we need to stop by several other villages and towns.

"If you get it, get on. I'll move on to the next village. ... Killares, take care of yourself."
"Be quiet,"

Ray said so because he was a good friend, but for the killer he was told, he probably thought he had been teased for his cowardice.
Killares, who has managed to make a comeback from being paralyzed, says so discontentedly to Ray's words.
Next to him was an old man in the village where Ray was... the mayor of this village looked at him amusingly.

"Now, I have confirmed that Killares is well, and that all the woodcutters going to Gilm should ride in the basket."
"... well, it was Ray, wasn't it? Are our tools really all right?"

One of the woodcutters asks Ray anxiously.
 It's no wonder I'm worried.
To a woodcutter, tools such as an axe are very important things of great importance.
Other than that, I was going to live in guillem for a few months, so I had to bring a change of clothes and stuff.
However, as long as I go to many villages and towns to collect woodcutters, I cannot, of course, put my belongings in a set basket.
That is why the workmen's luggage was stored in Ray's mistling.
This may be one of the reasons why Ray was chosen to collect woodcutters.

"You saw me take the basket out of the mistling, then, I don't think you need to worry?"
"No, that's true, but... it's really all right, isn't it?"

I don't trust Ray's words, but it's the first time I've ever seen an item box, so I don't fully understand how it works or how it works.
To such a woodcutter, Ray offers the man's luggage in the mistling, as evidence rather than argument.
A woodcutter who finally looks relieved when he sees it.

"That's all right, isn't it? Get in the set basket. I need to see other villages and towns from now on. I'd like to hurry up a little."
"Oh, oh. All right."

Ray's words finally reassured the woodcutter into the set basket.
Ray calls Seto, who was still playing with his children, because the woodcutter was his last.

"Seto, let's move on!"
"Gruly!"

Ray's voice calls out Seto and chants at the children he's been playing with.
 Goodbye. With that in mind.
The children regretfully leave the set, too, whether they understand it.
Some children still complained about playing with Seto, but their parents pulled them away from him.
That said, it wasn't because I thought about Seth... but because I thought maybe if I bothered him, he might harm my child.
There was no way that Seto, who was a child lover, would do such a thing, but considering he had just come to this village, it was inevitable that his parents acted.
Seto knows it, so he moves to Rey's side, regretting it.

"Then the woodcutters will have me safely delivered to Gillum, and I hope you will wait for me until I come back."
"Yes. Please."

The village mayor said so, and the others... the family of the woodcutters, and the villagers who simply came to see him off, sent their best wishes to Ray.

(I don't mind coming to see you off like this, but I wonder what you're doing with your work. Well, if you're doing agriculture, you'll be free to some extent.)

When he was in Japan, he was farming at home, and Ray knew about it.
Of course, agriculture in this world is largely human‐powered, and in that sense it is much harder work than in Japan.
But it still makes sense because the basic physical strength of the inhabitants of this world is basically higher than that of the Japanese... or the Earth.
That doesn't change my back from doing farm work.
Anyway, after a brief exchange of words, Ray rides on Sett's back.
Seto runs up in the sky in a few steps with Ray on his back, bends wide in the air, flaps his wings, and descends straight down to the ground.
An eagle in the sky catches a set basket in an instant, as if it were catching its prey, and then flies up again.

"Oh, oh, oh,"

The villagers' mouths startle as they watch the series of movements.
The scene was probably remarkable to the viewer.
I even felt like a kind of performance.
Anyway, Seto, holding a casket in front of the villagers, flaps his wings and leaves.

"... ah,"

Seto's ability prevented him from being seen from below, and the villagers would have understood for the first time that Seto... and that Ray had taken the woodcutters to other villages and towns.
With a little regret, each of us still returns to his or her job.
Among the workmen's relatives, only a few worried people seemed to think that it was really all right, but when the other workmen's relatives urged him to do so, he returned to his job.
Finally, after the mayor glanced at the sky where Seto had left, he returned to the village with a cane.

"Well... it's nice weather. That's why I want to fly in the sky forever if possible."
"Glu".

When Ray mutters on the back of a flying Seto, Seto purges in agreement.
Many of the woodcutters were shouting in Seto's basket.
Was it a cry of fear to fly or a cry of joy to see the earth from the sky?
Ray didn't know about the area, but he didn't say he was talking forever and now he's quiet.

(I'm afraid of heights, and I'm fainting... or, if possible, I hope you're so impressed that you can't even speak because you're fascinated by the scenery on the ground.)Thinking of the woodcutters, Ray turns his eyes to the earth.
What I saw was a green carpet stretching all over the ground.
There's a highway through such a green carpet, and it's a curious sight to watch over and over again.
The fact that it is clear without rain is probably the reason why we enjoy this superb view more than enough.

"Well, how many villages and towns can we go around to-day?"

mutter, check the map given in the guild out of the mistrings.
It was clearly indicative of the villages and towns that we would stop by this time.
Naturally, maps were so valuable in this world that they were even treated as strategic materials.
The map Ray received in the guild this time also shows the villages and towns he stops by, but few others.

"If possible, I'd be more comfortable if I could see something as a landmark."

It's no use getting lost on a map like this.
Ray said so, but in reality, he could reach his destination sufficiently on a map like this.
Ray was actually able to reach the first village with Sett.
It was a village along the highway, though, and that's probably why.k.a. big deal.
With that thought in mind, I moved over the green carpet... within half an hour I saw the next village.

"Well... Pasla should be in that village. Well, if it's wrong, can I look for it again? Get off, Seto. Don't forget to take the basket down first."
"Grull!"

Ray's words give a cry of "OK!" and Seto descends toward the earth.
That feeling... Ray says I can hear the loud voices of the woodcutters in the set basket, perhaps because of the feeling of going downstairs in the elevator.

"Don't worry, we've only arrived at the next village! Let's put the basket down to earth!"

Did you hear Ray's voice, or was he too upset to hear?
Ray couldn't understand it, but at any rate Seto follows Ray's instructions and puts his basket down to the ground and flaps his wings up again.
In what appeared to be Pasla, there were villagers guarding the gates against monsters, animals and suspicious figures, just as there were in the first village, Killares, who naturally showed surprise at the sight of Seto.
...or maybe Seto wouldn't have been so surprised.
But it was impossible not to be surprised to see Seto suddenly appear on the ground and fly right beside him with his wings flapping.
Set baskets change their patterns in the same way as the surrounding scenery.
For that reason, it seemed that the villagers who guarded the gate suddenly appeared.

"What? Huh?"

The villagers looked confused, but suddenly a number of strong men came out of the set basket at the end of their eyes.
The sight of him did not immediately identify him as an enemy.
If this had not been the case with the cages and the men had normally approached the Basra, they would have recognized it as an enemy because of its stern appearance and apparent muscularity.
However, the completely incomprehensible situation for the man undermines his judgment.
In this case, there is no doubt that it worked well.
Though seemingly robbers, these men were actually a group of good woodcutters.
Then, while the villagers are confused, Seto, who returns to the sky, comes down to the ground again.
It was quite powerful to see Seto, who was about three meters long, fluttering his wings and coming wings flapping.
At the very least, the villagers would take a few steps back unconsciously, even when viewed from a distance.
Then, in front of the startled villagers, Ray approaches the villagers when he talks to them a word or two.

"This is Ray from Gilmoo. He's gathering woodcutters for Gilmoo. I think you've already heard of him. Have you heard of him?"
"What? Oh, yeah. I've heard about it."

The villagers nod to Ray's words several times.
Seeing it, the woodcutters who came to Ray's side feel deeply sorry for him when they understand his feelings.
For those who have never been on the battlefield and have lived only in the village where they grew up, the existence of Seto is so remarkable.
