14 Chapter 14: Restraint

This will be my home village of Auld.

We got the Moonflower safely, and hurriedly made our way to the village where Uzuki lives before it got dark.
It seems to be located in a corner of the vast plain as soon as you leave the forest area.

It's a long walk through the forest though, and Uzuki must be in good health.
Life in the frontier is all about walking. I'm not very good at sports, but I'm good at walking, hehe.
 Uzuki looked cool.

If it weren't for the fatigue-reducing effects of the B-Class Movement Cheat, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have gotten there.

As soon as you arrive, the S-Class Searching Cheat "Explore, Discover, My Town" activates.
When you arrive at your destination, this cheat will map out in your mind the route to your destination and your current location.

For someone like me who was in an environment where I could search for my location at any time with my phone, I was honestly extremely grateful for this effect.
I wondered if I'd have to read a hand-drawn paper map sooner or later... I was pretty worried about that, to tell you the truth.

As we entered the village grounds, the two of us, shoulder to shoulder, walked down the central pathway.
It was already dark around us, and we could see that the houses on either side of us were illuminated with artificial bright lights.

'There's electricity, is there?'
'Electricity...? Do you mean the Akari Ishi (stone)?
An Akari rock?

It's a type of ore that glows. It's small, long-lasting and convenient. It's very useful because it's small and long-lasting and I can read at night.
Heh, so that's what it's all about.

I thought it was electric, indeed.
There seemed to be no television.

We don't have them in the villages around here, but in the city, not only houses but also the streets are covered with light stones at regular intervals, so that the outside is bright even at night. It's called a "street light.

He saw that I didn't know what an Akariishi was and went out of his way to explain it to me.
Uzushi is really a nice girl, she is really kind and thoughtful.
Just talking to her normally makes me feel very happy.

Of course, living in modern Japan, streetlights are a familiar sight to me.
But it's not very smart of me to show off my knowledge of Uzuki's hospitality, is it?

Would you like to go see it with me sometime? It's so beautiful.
 Snap.
'What ...?'
Did you just hear a few bogus words?

 "Come with me" and "see"...?
 Who's with whom?
 Huh?
 Me and Uzushi?
 Seriously?

"Great, let's go. Let's go together. Let's go now.
I can't do it right now.......the house is just around the corner. But we'll definitely go together in the near future, won't we?

You promise?
Yes, I promise.

 ..........oh no.
Now, rather naturally, I've made plans for a date night.

Ever since I learned that word, I've been searching the internet for a date with an adult, a date night...!
It's a super-powered word, full of dreams, romance, and eroticism, called "date" for "night.

Finally, at last, the time has come when there is no possibility that I, too, might climb the stairs of adulthood--!
