29-Knight Tyranny

During my tour of the city, I came across a square.
It is located right after passing through the main gate.
There is a fountain in the center and the area is paved with stones.
It was a place of relaxation for the residents of the city, with housewives having well-worn meetings and children running around and playing.

 It was a quiet scene.
As we stopped and stretched to take a break, we saw two familiar faces walking toward us from across the street.

'What a surprise,' I said.
 I said.
It's not a big city. When you're on patrol, you're bound to run into each other. I've met some of the other guards, too.

 Spinoza returned, folding his arms.
Fam is standing by his side.

No, that's not what I meant. It's not that. It's that Spinoza is doing his rounds so diligently. I thought you'd be in a tavern or something.
Don't be silly. I'm at work. I don't do that.
I used to do that.

I was drunk. I was drunk.

Well said. You were going to the bar today. You were going to go to the bar again today. You just got banned because your bill got too big.
"Ah! Fumm! You tipped me off, didn't you?
I was just reporting the situation to Zeke as my subordinate.
"I was just reporting a situation to Zeke," said Fam.

"She was trying to skip her patrol, by the way. I tried to stop her, though. She's in the casino and broke.

"Don't tell me everything you know!

Spinoza tried to grab at Fam.
But she twisted and ducked, and hid behind my back. I'm not going to let you get away with this.

"Uh-huh. Your attack won't hit me.
That's why I hate gloomy people. That's why I don't like gloomy people. You sneak around. If you don't like it, come at me head on.

Spinoza said and looked at me.

"...... Zeke. Hand him over to me. I can't stand it this time. I've got to teach him a lesson.
Teach him what?
About who's better.
I'm not gonna go toe to toe with a guy as rough as you. You know what? Conflicts only happen between people of the same level.
Hey, that's ......!
Hey. Why don't we stop this amongst ourselves?

I hurriedly intervened between the two.
It looks like a battle is about to start. The guards are supposed to be protecting the city. What are they doing causing trouble?

The two of them don't seem to get along," said Seira.
"Apparently so.

Spinoza, bright and bold, and Fam, dark and delicate.
Spinoza is bright and boisterous, and Pham is dark and sensitive. They are complete opposites, and while they may attract each other magnetically, they repel each other far more often in their relationships.
They were like water and oil.

We're both in the same squad, and I want us to get along. ......

 I completely agree with you.
But there's nothing I can do about it.
 And then...

"The Order's back!

shouted a resident of the city.

The eyes of the people in the square turned to the path leading to the gate.
A group of men in silver and white armor walked toward the gate. They were accompanied by a carriage. The inhabitants lined up on either side of the route they were taking.
Then they knelt down on the spot.
The knights had gone on an expedition to defeat the demons. When they returned, the people of the city were supposed to greet them like this.
We had to move aside so as not to interfere with the Knights' route.
The Knights were strolling down the cobblestone streets with their own faces. They seemed to be clothed in confidence. Everyone's chin was turned up more than parallel.

"You're still so pompous. I don't like it.
I don't like it," Spinoza spat quietly.
I agree with you on that point. There's nothing uglier than a man who puts his power on the line. Even from this far away, I'd be choked up.

The tone of Pham's voice was tinged with disgust.

"There ......

Children were playing with a ball in an alley.
It's a great way to make sure you're getting the most out of your vacation.

I'm sorry.

A boy came into the street to pick up the ball. Then, one of the knights who was walking in the front changed his eyes.

 The next moment...

The knight's right foot kicked up the boy's dove tail.

 A painful sound resounded.
The boy groaned and fell to the ground.

You can feel Seira next to you gasping for air.
The residents of the city did the same.
The air in the place froze in an instant.

'You're such a brat to interfere with our march! I'm going to teach you a lesson instead of your stupid parents!

The knight man said and kicked the crouching boy further.
It's a good idea to have a good idea of what's going on in your life.

"What a horrible ......!

You'll be able to find a lot more information on the web.
Before she could make a move - I was on the move.
The knight was about to kick the boy again, when he swung his foot at the shaft.

The knight lost his balance and fell on his butt. He glared at me.

What are you? Who are you?
That's my line. Can't you hear the kid apologizing?

I glare and the knight man yells at me.

You're a ...... guard, aren't you? Do you know what you're doing?
Yeah. I'm a guard. It's my job to protect the city. I can't let people like you threaten the city.

The knight's mouth twisted into a lecherous grimace as I said it.

"Looks like we've got some pretty dashing guards.

Then he put his hand on the hilt of the sword at his waist.

It's outrageous for a guard to defy a knight. I'll let your stupid body know where it stands.
If you're going to draw your sword, you'd better be prepared.
Cut it down!

That was the moment the knight swung his sword upward.
 --It's too late.
I grabbed the knight's face, put my weight on it, and slammed it down on the cobblestones as hard as I could.

I grabbed the knight's face, put my weight on it, and slammed it as hard as I could into the pavement.

The knight kissed the cobblestone with such force that his eyes went white and his teeth shattered. He fell to his knees and didn't move a muscle.
I said to the mute knight as if to spit.

You're not training well, are you? There are so many gaps. --Though I doubt you'll be able to hear me any longer.
