Chapter 17: What's most annoying about pioneering

After walking forward for about half a minute, a row of oddly shaped doors appeared in front of us, and based on my knowledge of RPGs, if I'm not mistaken, this is the entrance to the maze.
I don't know why this is the type that is hard to judge directly, but if you give me something to solve the puzzle, I'll be in trouble if I have to bet my luck!
"Let's go."
Dale led me toward a door in the middle.
"How did you know about the entrance?"
"Of course I'm trying one by one, it's considered a more beginner's copy, each wrong door will show up a monster similar to the one I just had, you know I was only level 11 when I first came here, it took me over half an hour just to tangle with the monster at the top, and I wasted a lot of recovery potions."
So this guy was getting high while painting this maze? That's some godly perseverance....
"Are all the monsters after that stronger than that?"
To be on the safe side, I asked this.
"At the second level, those monsters are stronger than me."
Stronger than Dale, actually? What is that concept? Dale is already a level 15 existence, so if it's a monster that's over level 15, am I just going to become a monster at the mercy of monsters?
"Thankfully, this labyrinth is still within the king's city, and if you die, you'll also be resurrected inside the church, which is the benefit of a primary labyrinth, right?"
Hey hey hey, that's totally wrong, right? Even if we could revive the previous corpse, what would happen? Direct transmission? Or soul release? If the body was still there, it would have become a gruesome image of all kinds of bloody violence or shameful play.
It's okay to be alone, but if you're in a group... you'll definitely throw up if you see your teammates getting OOX'd by monsters.

I'm certainly not talking about OOXX in that sense, but it could be just as well.

"Hahaha, how do you gain without giving? According to the map, this maze has three levels, if you can reach the last room, you must be able to get something very strong."
"Hey, why is it this kind of opening plot in the beginning, you know what I hate most about playing the game for so long is that I'm alone to open up the maze, it's just morbid!"
When I was pioneering with a friend, I didn't sleep for three days and three nights, and was almost sent to the hospital by the owner of the internet cafe....

But now they will be sent to the hospital anyway.......in all kinds of ways.
But if they will be resurrected in a church, is there still a hospital in this world? Or are we the only ones who can be resurrected?
No, where else would the resurrection potion Dale possessed come from? Isn't it store-bought?
"Dale, how the hell did you get your resurrection potion?"
"Resurrection potion?"
Dale turned his head as he led me forward.
"That's going to be synthetic oh, and there's no such thing in this world, it's just existences like ours that can use it. You've bought things before, right? If normal conversation can only buy everyday items, but then, if you use our own 'conversation' function and choose to buy, the things you can buy will change. By the way, I'm not buying my resurrection potion, but rather, I'm going to be in an alley with a strange guy who normally can only talk, but if I 'talk' to him, a menu of synthetic potions will appear."
Hey hey hey, I thought I could only buy it with 'conversation' before! Could you have just asked? Is this what happened when a price drop was promised and the menu didn't open?
"I mean, have you ever tried to fight someone and then 'talk' to them?"

Dale pondered for a moment and said with sudden realization.
"Yeah! If we get into a conversation, they'll stop! Why didn't I think of that!"
"Which means you haven't tried it either?"
"Ah... that's right, maybe it won't work either. But that's a good suggestion though, let's try it next time!"
But if that's the case, it seems a bit unreasonable...and what kind of scene did the person next to us see when we entered the 'conversation'?

Suddenly, Dale stopped in his tracks and I bumped right into his back, then asked.
"What's wrong? Why did you stop?"
"This..."
Dale turned to look at me with a frown.
"The route of the maze seems to have changed..."
"Huh?"
"........"
Dale didn't say anything, just pointed to the road ahead.
Looking ahead, it was at the end of the road and there was nothing to see but a wall.
"What's going on here!?"
But Dale also looked depressed, and he seemed to be unsure of why.
At the same time, cracks suddenly appeared in the wall to the right, and Dale grabbed me and immediately ran backwards without looking back.
In the next second, a soft earthworm identical to the one from earlier rushed out of the wall and opened its rotten mouth towards us.
"Run! There's no way to predict that guy's attack inside the labyrinth, so if you don't run out you'll be at a big disadvantage!"
From Dale's tone this was definitely not a joke, and of course the soft earthworm wouldn't joke with me either.
In other words....
