273-Chapter 37: The Rise of Warcraft 27 Treasure...

Chapter 37 - The Rise of the Beast Chapter 27 Po ...

Although we were harassed by the beasts, it didn't affect our movement.
But after we walked a short way forward, suddenly, Aria called out.
"Yo, there's actually a treasure chest here."
"Huh?"
I looked at Alicia in surprise, but she was running to the side becoming wall.
"I said I found a treasure chest here!"
Alicia shouted as she kicked at the wall, a small hole broke directly above the very solid looking wall and a very worn looking box was exposed.
"Wait wait wait! Wait a minute, how did you kick the wall down?"
I quickly rushed over to the wall and touched it.
"It's not like this wall can't be destroyed, and it's no different than the one next to it, so how can you tell it can be destroyed here?"
"Well...because of my intuition?"
"It's a query?"
I think it should be that Alicia has chosen skills that can spot treasure chests, special skills, like marking treasure chests or something like that, so that the chests behind them can be seen even through the walls.
"Let me guess, in the labyrinth we went to before, were the really useful treasure chests hidden inside the walls but we didn't find them."
"Yes, that's right. So I took the time to walk around again and go through all the treasure chests you face."
"You're so free..."
All over again? In the past month? That's a terrible efficiency you've got there, isn't it?
"That's the downside of too much freedom, you'll do anything if you can't find something to do."
"That's true..."
"Well, let's see what's in here."
Alicia laughed as she kicked the treasure chest open.
"Hey, hey, hey, are you okay with this violent way of unlocking things?"
Alicia took a necklace out of the treasure chest, looked at it, and then stuffed it into her pocket.
"Violence isn't the problem, the problem is just being able to open it. It's an iron lock, and after so long all that iron has been oxidized, so just kick it open well. Also, this necklace has no real function, other than the fact that the raw material is gold plus an elaborately carved gemstone, which means..."
"There is no use for it other than to sell it for money. I see, that's good, it looks like we're getting something for this operation. But I do wonder who put these treasure chests here."
"Don't bother with such details, but I think you'll probably never find the answer if you dwell on it."
"That's true."
"It seems like you're having some very strange conversations~ But Phil, have you noticed that the magical elements inside this space are a bit strange?"
"What?"
I looked curiously at Farran, who instead looked at me with a very strange look.
"Come on, at least you're a high level magician now, haven't you noticed that the amount of magical elements here is almost so small as to be unbelievable. Instead, it's something I've never felt before that's filling up the place where those magic elements were supposed to be."
"...Other things?"
I opened my menu bar, and that's when I noticed that at this point my magic amount on top of my status bar had turned red.
The recovery of the magic amount had slowed to a crawl, and if I stared at it, nothing happened after half a day.
"It seems... that's indeed the case. Then do any of you know what those unknown things are?"
"Eighty percent... it's some kind of magical element we don't know about, right?"
"That's really interesting, which means that this space has been directly locked by something else?"
"That's right, just like you can't fly, I have tried to summon the Underworld trying to get it to take me out, but it can't fly either."
"The rules..."
I said after thinking about it.
"Can I think of it as an upgraded version of the Academy's [Battle Boundary], where the damage received inside the battle boundary can be limited to a layer that doesn't allow the opponent to die as long as the damage is received."
"Yes. That's why it's usually the Academy's teachers who activate the battle boundary, and as the core of the boundary they can control the combat power."
"No wonder sometimes the battle boundary doesn't work."
"Oh, your teacher would be sad if she knew you said that. "
I spread my hands.
"Which means we're inside a very large boundary, and the people who control this place are more than a little bit stronger than us."
"The temple, maybe there's a god down there."
"A god? I don't think it's a demon god either."
As far as I knew, those demons should have stayed in the abyss, not wanting to stay in a place that looked like a tomb.
"It shouldn't be them, or it's a passage to Hell down here."
"That would be really interesting."
"It's not interesting at all, okay?"
A channel? That's a problem, Snake Eyes and those beasts are already very annoying, but if you involve the demons then it's not over yet, is it?
And this is the beast that led me to this place, if it's controlled by Snake Eyes, then Snake Eyes wanted me here.
Why? Let me come on tour?
I look around the area.
This wall doesn't just seem to be indestructible, it's blocking my vision, and it sucks that I can't see its name after that demon escaped just now.
It's not a matter of whether it's bad or not anymore, this place is literally sealing my abilities completely.
And the recovery magic is so slow, and my recovery potions are so low.
"Anyway, let's just scavenge all the way down. Let's hope we can find that d*mn storm hawk."
"Well, it's all scavenging anyway, what not."
Alicia said very happily, it seemed that for her as long as she could scavenge the rest she didn't care at all.
After getting used to walking the maze from God's perspective, this strange method of walking the maze was a real struggle.
Thankfully there's still a small map to see the nearby routes, otherwise I think even the best sense of direction would collapse at the sight of these almost identical maze passages.
"There's another treasure chest here~"
Alicia shouted as she rushed over excitedly.
