265-To Adventurer Guild

I've come to the royal capital of Glendale.

My father's estate as an earl also has an adventurer's guild, but apparently the guild in King's Landing receives far more requests than the one in King's Landing.

Also, when an adventurer receives a request, the adventurer rank and which guild he or she has registered with determines whether or not he or she can receive the request.

For example, if an adventurer registered in a city with a guild and an adventurer from another city want to take a request, the local adventurer will be given a preferential treatment if they have the same rank.

So I figured that if I wanted to register, the adventurers' guild in the royal capital would be a good place to do so.

Normally, fledgling adventurers would register with their local guild before traveling to other lands. This was because even the demons they defeated during their journey could increase their adventurer rank.

You can also re-register your guild when you travel.

You can use the place you re-registered with your guild as your base of operations, or you can travel to other places.

 Adventurers are a free profession.

However, there are many conditions for re-registration, so we decided to register as adventurers in King's Landing from the beginning.

We have to attend the IFLS Academy for two years after becoming adventurers.

There are some students who register as adventurers while attending the magic academy as well, but they all register at the adventurer's guild's sub-branch inside the magic academy.

This is because it's easier because they don't have to go to a distant guild, and there's another reason.

When you register as an adventurer, if you don't receive several requests based on your adventurer rank within a certain period of time, your registration will be cancelled.

However, if you register at the guild office in the academy, your registration will not be erased even if you do not receive any requests for a long period of time.

That's why most of the students of the magic academy register as adventurers at the sub-branch.

Many of the Elnor family members are able to move fast in addition to me and Citry being able to use transfer magic.

That's why getting to and from the adventurer's guild in the royal capital isn't hard at all.

Besides, our class had finished all the required curriculum at the school by last year, so the number of classes we had to take at the school had been reduced.

In other words, we had a lot of free time.

There was also a prospect of being able to take orders from the guild a few times a week.

That's one of the reasons why I came to the Adventurer's Guild in King's Landing.

''This is the King's Capital Adventurer's Guild?''
It's as big as Halt's house!

Luna and Chalk called out as they looked up at the Adventurer's Guild building. It seemed that this was the first time the two of them had come to the royal capital of Glendale.

A building the same size as my mansion at the magic academy, or maybe a little bigger, is right in front of us.

This is the headquarters of the Adventurer's Guild of Glendale. This place has the control of all the adventurer's guilds in the country as well as normal guild functions.

Because of this, there are a large number of people who come and go.

I once went to see the adventurer's guild in my father's territory, but it was more lively than that.

There are a lot of people around here who look like adventurers.

 It's kind of exciting.

I can become an adventurer today, something I've been interested in since I was in my original world.

Let's go.
Yes, sir.

Tina and the rest of my family and friends, a total of seventeen people and one animal, were dragged into the guild building.

 ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─

Okay. Now, here's your guild card.

Oh, yes thank you.

I received a guild card with a large F written in the upper right corner from the beautiful lady who was working at the guild's reception desk.

 ........strange.

The adventurer registration was completed without incident, and I got my guild card.

It's strange that I got it──that's also strange.

I came here to become an adventurer, I was able to register properly, and I received my guild card.

The goal was accomplished, but something was missing.

You're going to be able to find out what's going to happen in the event that you're not.

It's a good thing to say it, but at first glance, the seemingly fragile me, who walked in with more than ten beautiful girls, thought I was going to be entangled with an older adventurer.

That kind of thing didn't happen at all.

''After all, are you unhappy with the F-rank?''

I looked like I didn't know what was going on, but Tina, who was concerned about me, asked me.

''Well, it's not like that, but...''

Master Hult, the men around you had ill-advised feelings for Mr. Hult, so she had everyone brainwashed so they wouldn't do anything unnecessary.

 Kikyou whispered in my ear.

 It's this guy!

The only reason we didn't get tangled up with the adventurers was because of Kikyou. She had brainwashed everyone inside the building of this guild, except for my companions.

Since I didn't get into any trouble, I should normally be grateful to Kikyou.

But I also had a little bit of a desire to experience a temp event, since I've come to another world.

''Thanks, Kikyou.

For now, I thank Kikyou and pat his head.

When Kikyou and Yohko are humanized, their tails are invisible to normal humans, but I can see them with my demon vision.

Because the tail behind her was wishy-washy as if to tell me to praise her.

'Lord, why do you praise my mother?'

 Yoko wonders.

Even Yoko, who is also a nine-tailed fox, didn't seem to realize that Kikyou had used brainwashing magic.

'Thanks to Kikyou, we got out of trouble. Here's my thanks for that.

Probably no adventurer in this guild has been able to resist Kikyou's brainwashing magic.

As a wise man, I listened to Kikyou's story and traced her considerably diluted magic and managed to confirm that the brainwashing magic was activated.

No one should be able to even notice that the brainwashing magic has been cast on them.

It's a good idea to have a tool to resist brainwashing magic.

It's a good thing that you're able to have a good time with your friends.

Even that didn't seem to have any effect.

The magic tool to counter brainwashing magic has spirits inside, and is designed to resist brainwashing magic by preventing interference by other people's magic power.

The spirits in that magical tool were surprised by Mai and May's existence and were not working well.

That's why even the higher-level adventurers who wear anti-brainwashing magic tools couldn't resist Kikiou's brainwashing.

This is how we ended up registering as adventurers without getting into any trouble at all.

I don't want to get into trouble, so this is fine.

Yeah........but promises are important, aren't they?

We left the Adventurer's Guild, feeling somewhat inadequate.
