49-Dissolution declaration

The launch after the defeat of the fire dragon with the initial three PTs was a great deal of fun, and even Garum, who had been keloshed by the dwarf's favorite drink, was red in the face. Tsutomu kept his pace, but he was tired of dealing with Amy's tangled drinks.

Afterwards, Camille and Tsutomu enjoyed the launch party while they chatted, and he paid the bill. They sent the drunken Amy and Camille back to the guild quarters with Garum, and Garum, perhaps feeling overwhelmed, fell asleep on the floor as he entered the room. Tsutomu, who managed to drag the huge Garum into the living room, also fell asleep immediately.

The next day. Tsutomu had spent the afternoon with Garum and Amy in civilian clothes, being interviewed by two newspapers in the guild's conference room. Amy is familiar with these types of interviews, so she's pretty well set up. Tsutomu was also asked about the PT's warfare techniques and ideas, so he answered them rapidly.

The newspaper company left the room after about two hours of interviewing the fire dragon. Amy looks satisfied, and Garum is leaning against the sofa. Then there was a knock on the conference room. Tsutomu answered and Camille, dressed in an indigo uniform, came in.

'Everyone's here,'
Oh, hi. I was going to call you at the house.
I heard there was a newspaper interview. It's going to take a lot of work to get there.

Tsutomu greeted Camille as she came in, and in a conciliatory manner, he let her pass to the sofa in front of him. There was a document in Camille's hand.

''Hmm? The Guild Master? What?
..........

Amy moved the cat ears above her as if she was curious about Camille in her guild uniform, and Garum remained silent as he closed his eyes, as if he had figured something out.

Camille sat down on the opposite side of the table where the three of them were sitting and placed a sheet of paper in her hand on the desk.

''The two names of the lucky ones were deemed to have been wiped out by the defeat of the fire dragon this time. Therefore, Garum, Amy. Their PT contract has expired. Do you have any objection, Tsutomu?
No, sir. No problem.
Oh, I see. I need you to sign here and give me your bloodstamp.
Eh....

Amy was stunned by the thumping of the story, but she remembered something she and Camille had blurted out not long ago when they had a drink together. The dissolution of the PT by wiping out two lucky people's names. It was something she had known, but Amy had thought it was still a long way off.

Tsutomu had been told in advance at yesterday's launch, so he jabbed the thin needle offered to him by Camille into his thumb and pressed his thumb against the paper with a quick signature. Camille nodded as she received the document.

''I can't lend a guild employee that casually, but if you have any trouble, visit me. I'll make it happen as best I can.''
'Thank you for that. I'll be able to rely on you when I'm really in trouble.
Yeah. Thanks for everything. Thank you so much. I look forward to working with you.
No, wait a minute! Wait, wait, wait!

Tsutomu was in the middle of taking the hand offered to Camille and shaking her hand when Amy was about to interrupt them and was stopped by Garum. Camille looked at Amy with lukewarm eyes.

'I've nailed it before but I knew you still thought it was a long shot, Amy.
'Gui, even the guild leader looked like he was having fun! Let's all join the clan in Tsutomu's clan! Right? It's like putting up a Tutmucan!
'It's a very tempting proposition but I have a duty to protect my guild. I'm sorry, but it's unlikely I'll be able to join Tutom's clan.
"Ugh.

Amy knows that Camille was left in charge of the guild before her husband. So she could have expected such an answer. And Camille saw such a situation of Amy and canceled in her mind the attempt to recruit the guild staff again, which was refused by Tsutomu yesterday. It was because she could see that Amy's fever as an explorer was returning.

'Amy. I'm sorry, but I've accumulated a lot of work over the last two months that can only be done with your appraisal skills. Now that the two names of the lucky ones have been wiped out, I can't afford to have you in the PT of Tutom any longer.
It's... I know, I know.
I'm sorry. I'll try to be as accommodating as possible, but there's a lot of work that only you can do. Let's get those out of the way first, and then we'll talk.

Camille popped Amy's head as she looked down and then turned her gaze to Garum. Garum straightened his posture and bowed to Camille, and she quickly removed her gaze from Garum's intentions as if she had sensed his intentions.

'Then, starting tomorrow, Garum and Amy are to return to their normal duties. I don't mind letting them have free reign today.

Tsutomu, who watched Camille leave the room after saying that, locked eyes with Garum behind him. He seemed relatively calm, as if he knew about this beforehand.

'Garum. I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to make it work. You've done a lot for me,
Yeah. Thank you as well. Thanks to Tsutomu, my knight has a glimmer of hope.

They shook hands with a smile. They shook hands quite forcefully, and Tsutomu was a little surprised when he squeezed back and then let go of his hand.

''Tsutomu was going to make a clan after this, wasn't he?
Yeah. I'm gonna make it after I make contact with the big clan for now.
'Hm, then there's one guy I'd like to introduce to Tsutomu. He's someone I've been working on lately. I'd like you to consider him as a clan member if you'd like.
'Oh, I'd appreciate that. By all means, please.

He nodded in satisfaction as Tsutomu smiled at Garum, who said with a thoughtful look on his face. Then Tsutomu turned back to Amy and she cringed.

'Thank you for teaming up with me too Amy. I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but now you're the best attacker I've ever had.
..........

Amy's mind was squirming with waves of thoughts. She resigned from the guild staff and followed Tsutomu. But that wouldn't repay Camille for her kindness. Camille is the one who showed Amy the way as a guild staffer when she was going through a rough patch during the clan's dissolution. To her, Amy owed a great debt of gratitude.

So should she give up following Tsutomu? I don't want to do that either. Amy is confident that this PT will be able to capture the fire dragon's destination with plenty of time to spare. The heat of being an explorer has rekindled within Amy, burning to the point of being uncontainable.

Tsutomu looks troubled by Amy's continued silence, and Garum sighs quietly. Then, caught between the two thoughts, Amy looked up with a bang as she came up with an answer to the loophole.

'Tsutomu! Become a guild official!

That was the loophole Amy had come up with. Guild officials are the ones who control the entrance to the dungeon. Therefore, it was essential that they have a level and strength to match the searchers. For that reason, the guild would want people like Tsutomu at their fingertips.

Besides, Amy couldn't believe that he would fail the written exam, seeing how Tsutomu was doing, and it's impossible that he would be rejected at the interview with the head of the guild. There is no doubt that Tsutomu can become a guild employee.

But contrary to Amy, whose eyes were sparkling as she came up with the best plan, Tsutomu's expression did not clear.

''I'm sorry. It's hard to be a guild employee.''
'What? The test? Then you'll be fine! You're so smart! Besides, I'll teach you too!
'As a guild employee, I'm limited in many ways. I want to build a clan and conquer dungeons.
Uh....

Tsutomu is attacking dungeons in order to get back to his original world. Tsutomu expects that something will happen when he completes a hundred levels of the dungeon, but if he includes the back dungeon attack, it will be a long time. So, there was no option to take the test and officially become a guild employee to capture dungeons while performing duties.

And Amy couldn't say anything else to Tsutomu, who looked just as non-negotiable as Camille. You can also find a number of other things to do with your life.

'And this doesn't mean we have to say goodbye anymore. I'm sure we'll see each other in the guild as much as we can.
'Yes, but you know what.... I know, but come on! You don't have anything more...? Like, for example, quitting the guild staff and following me!
'No no no.......what would Amy do if she actually said that? Camille would be in trouble if she suddenly quit the guild staff.
Ugh.
'And guild staff seems to be treated pretty well. You're asking me to quit that...''

Looking at Garum's life and other aspects of the guild staff's treatment, he couldn't tell Tsutomu to abandon such a position and come to the clan. Besides, pulling Amy and Garum out would be a big blow to the guild.

''Therefore, the PT is disbanded here. It's not that I won't be forming a PT again. If there's another opportunity, I'd appreciate it.

When Tsutomu held out his hand to Amy for a handshake, she snapped it away.

''Keep your seat in the clan open, okay? When you get your work done you can repay the guild leader for his kindness. I'll be there in a minute.

Amy dismissed it quickly and ran out of the conference room with a motivated look in her eyes. Garum comes in from beside Tsutomu, who is rubbing his clapped hands.

''May I join you?''
Of course.
Good.

Even Garum, who flapped his black tail behind him, looked somewhat relieved. Garum's face instantly returned to normal and he crossed his arms as if he had regained his composure.

'Then we have to take Tsutomu's luggage with us. Have you already taken the inn?
Yes. Same place as the last innkeeper.
All right. Well, let's just get it over there.
Thank you very much.

Tsutomu was grateful to see Garum taking it for granted to help, but then he and Garum finished carrying their luggage to the inn.

I'm not going to be able to get any more information on this.

(Alone?)

It's a very good idea to have a good idea of what you're looking for. It's not that I'm not going to be able to see them if I go to the guild, but the fact that the PT is going to be disbanded makes Tsutomu feel a little lonely.

I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to make the most of your time in this area. Both of them had said that. Tsutomu felt sorry for that, but he was happy to hear it.

Then he would make his own clan bigger so that those two would not be embarrassed to enter. Tsutomu thought that this would be a way to reward them, and he sat up.

(Shall we move?)

Tsutomu put his hands on his own thighs and stood up vigorously.
