50-Daryl, disciple of Garm

Tsutomu stood up and went to his desk and began to write a letter to the four major clans. Three roles: tank, healer and attacker. Information on fire dragons in the way of flying heels. To provide that information in a joint project between the two newspapers. And the letter is to ask if you would consider participating in that project.

He completed the letter while changing the content of the letter by adding sentences complimenting the name of the clan and the characteristics of each clan, and after confirming the address, Tsutomu went to the four clan houses.

The Golden Exam. Aldrete Crow. The Red Demon Squad. The Maze Control Squad. It was already nighttime when he went around the four clan houses and handed out the letters. Tsutomu returned to the inn and waited for the evening meal to be brought to him in the dining room.

Tsutomu's guess is that the clans other than the Red Demon Clan will be on board. Aldoret Crow would definitely be interested, given that they have already copied and utilized Tsutomu's warfare techniques. The Golden Probe is a clan that is likely to be able to attack fire dragons even with Attacker 4 Healer 1, but you'll want information on flying heels and fire dragons.

Tsutomu wasn't too familiar with the Maze Conqueror Clan, so it was unknown, but it's a clan that risked its life to conquer the dungeons outside. Tsutomu expected that they would be greedy for this kind of information.

Then there are two days between the return of the letter and the return of the letter. Tsutomu lined up at the forest apothecary first thing in the morning to replenish a small amount of potions and explore the dungeon, mainly in the double-digit range. Two more PT members were needed to establish the clan, and one was filled with people Garum could introduce to him, and they would be meeting up soon. But the other one would have to find himself.

Tsutomu is the one who is hiding in the dungeon with an instant PT that is being recruited on the guild's bulletin board. He has been looking for someone good among them, but nothing in particular has caught his eye in the past two days. Other than that, Tsutomu has been planning to see if he can pull out of the second and third ranks if possible, when he actually shows the heels he flies when providing information to the major clans to change their perceptions.

If they still weren't there, the worst that could happen was to recruit clan members in the guild, but Tsutomu didn't really want to do that.

If there was an explorer who had reached the mid-level with no problems with his background or behavior, then no doubt other clans would have already spit on him. So the ones who would bite into the guild's clan member recruitment would be leftovers that hadn't been scouted by the clan, or even gems that were unknown to them. It's not a bad idea to raise them leisurely from scratch, but if you can do it, thirty levels is what Tsutomu wanted.

As for pulling out, the golden investigation is mostly the harem of the clan leader. Tsutomu had heard that many of the Labyrinth Conquerors were also proud to be in that clan, so he was hoping that he could pull out of Aldoret Crow. Since there are more than a hundred people enrolled in that clan, Tsutomu believes that pulling out one or so of the level thirty to forty people would not cause that much friction.

(Preferably a light warrior-type attacker. The person Garum wants to introduce to you is probably a tanker.

After receiving four letters from the receptionist at the inn, Tsutomu returned to his room and opened one of Aldoretto's envelopes, dreaming of a clan member he had never seen before.

I'm going to be the first to say that I'm very pleased to see that the contents of the letters were spelled out to the effect that Tsutomu wanted to join the clan, as he had expected. This was a great relief to him, because he could see the hope for the clan members. Tsutomu read the letter, which was filled with great enthusiasm, and then he opened the letter that came from the golden thread.

I'm not going to be the only one who has been in a position to do that. There were many references to the rewards of that information in particular. However, Tsutomu was in a good mood, saying that this was mostly enough to secure the golden investigation.

Tsutomu's reward for this information was not G (gold), but an interview with two newspapers. If that was the extent of the information that could be obtained, he would almost certainly agree to look into Gold's research.

The two newspapers, other than Solit, have very little connection to the major clans, as well as financial strength. So this time, besides Tsutomu's main purpose of restoring the three roles and the healer's situation, one of his aims was to have the two newspapers and the major clans connect with each other.

The two companies in their current state of affairs have seen an increase in performance thanks to the free interviews with Tsutomu, Garum, and Amy, and they have a stock of questions and interviews with Amy and Garum in the information section sent out by Tsutomu, so they won't have any problems with stories for another month. However, Tsutomu's PT has already been disbanded, so I won't be able to continue after that.

So this time, I'll be making connections with the major clans so that my performance won't drop off after a month. In addition, the mid-ranking clans will be using the big clans as bait, so I'm hoping that they'll be able to make connections there as well. By that time, we will be able to pay the clans a little more for their coverage, so it should be an option.

Tsutomu then opens the Red Devil's letter. There was a formal refusal written on it, like a prayer mail. But since this was within the realm of expectation, Tsutomu quickly picked up the envelope of the Maze Hegemony Squad.

The other clan's envelopes are also of moderate quality, but the envelope of the Maze Hegemony is a very high quality looking envelope with gold cloth wire. And it was obvious from the outside that there was something solid in it. Tsutomu carefully opened the seal, thinking dirty thoughts about how many g's it would cost if he sold this, but he carefully opened the seal.

It's not just a matter of time before you get to the point where you can get to know each other. If you read the letter in detail, it is stated that this magic stone is a thank you for inviting me to the project and is not included in the reward for information.

(That's quite a high treatment...)

It's a good idea to have a good time with the clan leader of the Maze Control Squad, who seems to be a letter writer whose face I haven't even seen yet, and Tsutomu tucked the three rare small magic stones into his magic bag.

The next day, Tsutomu went to the guild in the afternoon in order to meet with someone who Garum was going to introduce as a clan member. As Tsutomu scurried around the reception area looking for Garum, he was stopped by the receptionist.

''Garum would be hiding in the dungeon right now. ........I believe he said he would be back by 13 (Ichi-san), so he should be back soon.
'Oh, I see. Thank you for coming all the way out.
No.

After bowing to the receptionist with a sales smile, Tsutomu sat down on a bench near the black gate in the guild. Tsutomu was watching the PT on the monitor in a blur when he saw a familiar tall man from the black gate and raised his hand.

'Hi!'
Tutum. I'm sorry to keep you waiting. I'll be back as soon as I finish the steca update.
Yes, sir.

Behind the usual straight-faced Garm, a boy with black, droopy dog ears is standing behind him, covered in sweat all over. The boy's face still has a hint of youthfulness to it, but he is tall and well-built, and the armor he wears is massive and large. The armor he wears is also heavy and large.

He is smaller than Garum and larger than Tsutomu, and when he catches sight of Tsutomu, he bows vigorously, holding up his black-and-white tail as if he were wary of the black-and-white mixture that had fallen down.

'I'm Daryl! Best regards!
Oh, yes. It's nice to meet you too. Let's go update the steca first, and then we can talk about it calmly.
'Oh! Yes!

When Tsutomu urged the boy named Daryl to do so as he began to sit down on the bench in front of him, he followed Garum with his energetic gait. While I thought he was a spirited boy, I was relieved to see Daryl's familiar equipment and guessed that he was a tank job.

The armor that Daryl is equipped with is often worn by heavy knight novices. Seeing that, Tsutomu guessed that his job was around heavy knights and heavy warriors. If that was the case, Tsutomu wondered if there were other options for attackers besides light warriors, and as Tsutomu was thinking about the upcoming PT formation, Garum and Daryl sat across from him.

'Tsutomu. This is the person I would like to recommend to my clan members. His name is Daryl.
'Yes! It's Daryl!
Oh, I see. My name is Tsutomu.

Tsutomu lightly grasped the basket wrapped hand that was offered to Daryl. He then held out the status card that was tucked under his arm to Tsutomu.

''This is my status card!

Tsutomu receives a slightly sweaty status card and looks at Daryl's status.

Daryl is a level thirty-one heavy knight with a VIT (sturdiness) of B-. Although its AGI (agility) is low, the heavy knight is one of the highest VIT jobs in all jobs. If you only look at its status, it's a valuable human resource that can be a replacement for Garum.

Tsutomu looked at the status card and returned it to Daryl with a smile on his face.

It's a heavy knight? That's nice.''
'Daryl can be a bit wishy-washy, but he's not a coward. I'm confident that he'll eventually be able to surpass me in the tank.
No, no, no! No way in hell I'm going over Mr. Garum!
It's only a tank. Don't push your luck.

Garum let out a sigh while spitting out harsh words at Daryl, who was embarrassed to put a hand to his head with a hehe.

''Your defenses are in tatters. The attacks on the monsters are not even close to being good enough. The attacks in particular are as poor as goblins. So I wouldn't expect much in the way of offense.''
I'm sorry...

With a stern look at Daryl beside him, Tsutomu listens to Garum's story.

''Combat Cry's control is also lax. But with my guidance, he'll be able to control it, and as he grows, his attacks on monsters will become better and better. Tsutomu. When do you plan to make the Clan?
'Well..... I plan to put them up in two months, three months at the most. I think it will take that long for the flying heels to penetrate and acclimate to their role.
'Well,' he said, 'in the meantime, we'll train him to be as good as I am. Then in the meantime, we'll train this guy to be able to handle the tank as well as I can. Of all the people I know, Daryl had the most potential. Tsutomu. What do you think?
The first thing that comes to mind is the fact that I'm going to be the first to be hired if Garum is so convinced. But I'd like to see his character, so I'd like to see what his personality is like, so I'd say the first week after the formation of the clan is a trial period, wouldn't you agree?
'Oh. It's more than enough for me to consider it. Thank you.

Garum put his hands on his knees and bowed his head widely, and Daryl next to him bowed his head as well to be caught. Tsutomu bowed his head as well.

The PT is more stable when the tank is stable, so we really appreciate it when you introduce us to good people.
'I'm the one who's grateful. Not everyone can be like me. But even if you don't become like me, if the knight can do his part, I'll be happy to help. If there's anything you need, just let me know.
Oh, I see. Oh, then can I ask you when you're free? There's something I'm planning right now...

He and Garum discussed the disclosure of information to the major clans and other matters, and while he was careful to make sure that Daryl could participate in the conversation, Tsutomu indulged in chit-chat with the two men.
