143-Safe choice

After the fruitful review meeting where everyone talked about their experiences, we had a peaceful dinner and all of us slept soundly. The next day was a holiday, so each of them were free to do their own thing.

Tsutomu woke up early in the morning to greet Oli, who was doing the housework, and then went outside to buy the morning paper while looking at the Goddess of Mercy. While looking at the golden research and the Red Demons who had been fighting the Borsayers since the morning, he checked to see if it was written as he had covered it yesterday.

(Wow, that was an awesome edit.)

Exaggerating statements and making headlines eye-catching are common, but Tsutomu chuckled when Daryl was widely reported as the man over Galum. Afterwards, after observing Alma applying a weak blizzard cross to Borsayer and the golden investigation that was able to get around normally, he saw the time and headed to the Doren Workshop.

Even though there were a few people visible when we arrived just at the opening time, the sign in the Doren Workshop stated that they would not be accepting orders for a while. It seems that they had been inundated with orders yesterday and couldn't take any more.

''Hey, that........''

While being whispered to by newcomers and mid-level explorers, Tsutomu entered the Doren Workshop. When he opened the door and entered, the unique heat of the blacksmith's workshop enveloped his body. Then Doren, who was raising his hammer, shouted angrily without looking at Tsutomu, who had come in.

''Hey! Didn't you see the sign outside? I ain't taking any more orders!
Mr. Doren. Mr. Tsutomu.
'Oh! ....Oh! You're Tutum! d*mn it!

When his apprentice pointed out the problem to him, Doren returned it irritably, but as soon as he checked on Tsutomu, he apologized. Apparently, he hadn't had time to spare due to his busy schedule since yesterday.

'Good morning. You look busy.''
'Thanks to you! Just wait till I finish this. Hey! Serve me tea!

Doren grinned at him and began to finish the long sword with the hammer, which had been used for years. Tsutomu, meanwhile, was led to his seat by his apprentice, who had his head shaved.

The sound of water evaporating from the hot iron as it cools and the lilting sound of the hammer hitting the iron is pleasant to hear. While Tsutomu was drinking the tea that was served to him and watching the sweat pouring off his face as the workers produced weapons and armor, Doren came in, wiping his sweat off and putting on his jacket.

I'm not sure what to say. I've been very busy," he said. I appreciate it.
No, to be honest, I think the reason we've had so many customers is because of Ms. Doren's skill.
Thanks.

Scratching his gray haired head, Doren sat back in his chair as if he'd changed his mind.

'So, do you have the equipment?'
Yeah. Here.

Tsutomu placed the magic bag on the desk and spread it out wide like a furoshiki and pulled out Daryl's heavy armor from it. Then he also took out Hannah's equipped knuckles. Doren stroked his chin with a snort as he looked at several heavy armor that had become brittle and completely broken in places due to the heat rays of the Mount Golem.

It's a good thing that you're not the only one. I'm sorry.
No, no, no, I think you've got it well, sir.
You don't see this kind of melting very often. It's not exactly burning rock.

Doren, who began to mumble and ponder over the damaged armor, took his hand away from the armor as if he had regained his attention.

''My bad. Let me keep this equipment over here. I'm also planning to finish up the red-haired girl's large sword in two days. The core of the sword is a little bent due to the fact that it was used to chop up the d*mn golem, so you'll have to wait and see. The knuckles of the bird lady have melted down a bit, so it's going to take about the same amount of time.
I understand. Then please do so. The rest of us will go from the seventy-one levels to the lower temperature levels, so I'd like you to develop countermeasure equipment.
Yeah. I'm working on that in parallel. We'll probably have to use the materials from the volcano, so can you go get some of them? It's a material that hasn't really hit the market yet.

One of the merged mid-sized clans is currently breaking through the fire dragons, but the supply of materials in the volcanic hierarchy is still not up to par. Aldoret Crow consumes a lot of it in its own workshop, and the Golden Research and Red Demon Clan often take it to their sponsors. Therefore, most of the materials that flow into the market are procured by the guild staff, and that's not nearly enough.

''Got it. I'm sure Oli-san will bring a list later, so please write it down there.''
I appreciate it.

Doren replied with a good human smile and called his apprentice to carry the equipment Tsutomu had brought with him. Then Tsutomu bowed to Doren.

'I know you're busy, but I'm looking forward to working with you.
Hey, hey. I'm the one who bows out. Thanks for the publicity. I was surprised at how many people showed up. We were booked up for a while, but don't worry about it, we'll take care of the equipment first.
Thank you.

At Tsutomu's words, Doren waved a stumpy hand with a calm face in dismay.

I'm the one who has to thank you. I sold a lot of my students' work yesterday. I've never seen you run out of stock before. Thanks to you, I think my apprentice will be able to earn a living for a while. Thank you.
Thank you!

The twisted bowl-wearing apprentice who was carrying the heavy armor also bowed to Tsutomu. After that, after thanking each other, Tsutomu left the Doren workshop. After that, he looked at the time and headed to the guild.

(I'm fine.)

After watching Hannah, Daryl, and Amira, who have been reflected in the first table since the morning, Tsutomu heads to a corner in the guild where there are not many people. This is where expedition requests to the outside dungeon and clan member recruitment forms are posted.

(Is this what the recruitment letter looks like? A little different.)

Aldrete Crow has been recruiting for a variety of jobs for some time, but now they are focusing on recruiting for the few jobs that are available. As for the other jobs, they are probably not recruiting because they are voluntarily looking for promising people.

The Red Demon Squad was originally an elite few, and the Silver Beast is also not recruiting because it is solidified by its own people. It seems that they are also not recruiting the golden investigation because Leon just brings them in on his own and the number of people increases.

Other mid-tier clans and others are recruiting for a variety of jobs. Attackers are in oversupply right now, or maybe not so much recruiting, but many tank and healer jobs were being recruited. As the three roles have become more prevalent, those who had given up on explorers are coming back and new ones are coming back, and a trend is starting to form without much of a job gap.

The ones that have received the least amount of attention so far are buffers, bards and granting sorcerers. Aldrete Crow and Silver Beast are currently being trained by Aldrete Crow and Silver Beast, but their recognition is low to begin with because they haven't yet appeared on the stage.

(Buffer? For additional clan members I don't know what to make of it).

The infinite circle is currently five, with Garum and Amy confirmed to be in, so there are actually seven of them. Divided by role, they are three attackers, three tanks, and one healer. Before Garum and Amy join, we're planning to bring in the remaining three or so clan members, but we weren't sure which roles to bring in.

The simplest way to think of it is to just put one person in each role and we're done. However, it wasn't a bad option to include a buffer. A buffer can increase all ability values and has the skill to manipulate mental power.

With a buffer, the attacker would have a higher STR, the tank would reduce damage, and the healer would have an easier time managing his mental power. It's not a bad option to cut down on attackers or tanks and put them in the PT.

However, Tsutomu had already been seeded with a buffer, so I couldn't bear to raise him as a new one now.

Aldoret Crow has a fat guy who Tsutomu taught Buffer directly after Stampede was finished. Silver Beast had been raising the buffer based on the materials Tsutomu had given him, and he had recently been shown occasionally in the volcano hierarchy.

(It's kind of late now...) I think it's fine to be safe, but... hmmm)

Tsutomu looks at the jobs that each clan is recruiting for and considers which ones don't stand out yet. Tsutomu knows that it is impossible for him to create a situation where all jobs are equally active. In this world where there is no update such as upward adjustment, when you get right down to it, there will inevitably be strong and weak jobs, and it is impossible to create a place where anyone can play an active role.

However, there are always things that only the job can do. Even if people think it is backward compatible with some other job at first, there is a chance to play an active role in any job if it is pursued. It's a good idea to have such an environment, and Tsutomu has his eye on the jobs that aren't often advertised, holding the ideal.

(For the time being, prayer warrior is a definite. And the rest..............is subtle)

There are two main jobs that can handle a healer, the white mage with the revival skill and the prayer warrior. The ash mage can use the recovery skill, but not the resurrection skill, so he cannot be called a genuine "kisui" healer job.

However, the current recruitment of healers is overwhelmingly for white mages, and prayer warriors are few and far between. It seems that prayer warriors are considered to be a degraded version of white mages because of the time and effort it takes to activate their revival skills, but this is not true. Prayers are a healer profession that can compete with white mages. In fact, in "Live Dungeon! I'm sure you'll be able to find out more about this.

By the way, the prayer warrior is currently in the fifth army at Aldoret Crow and in the second army at Silver Beast. The guild staff also has a female prayer warrior whom Tsutomu blamed for the questions, but she is the top player at the moment. She is the best healer in the guild, and she forms a PT with Amy, Garum, Camille, and others when investigating the hierarchy and leveling up the guild staff.

(Compositionally, I'd like to have a magic receiving tank and a magic attacker, but I guess I'll have to talk to everyone else about the rest.)

Tsutomu left the Clan's job board and next entered the appraisal room. A girl with ochre-colored cat ears was faltering at the front counter, while Amy looked bored beside her.

'Hello. Are you skipping work?
I'm not slacking off~. I'm letting my men do their thing~
That's one way to put it.

He returns the greeting to the cat person girl, who bows repeatedly as if she were afraid to check on Tsutomu, and takes out a scorching rock robe from his magic bag.

''At any rate, since it's a promise, I'll lend it to you.
Oh, are you sure it's yours? Thanks!

Amy took the robe as a hug and placed it on the shelf behind her. Beside her, a girl whose appraisal skills were still level one was appraising impatiently.

'Is the guild going to be able to defeat the Mounted Golem? I don't see that lately.
''Hmm. Lately, I've only been collecting materials for the volcano hierarchy, and probably starting today, I'm going to hunt for this for the Volsayer........ I don't think it'll be possible for a while.

Tsutomu's equipment, which had completely disabled the heat rays, had received attention in the article, and it was investigated that it had been dropped from the Borseyeer's treasure chest. That's why the Golden Investigation and the Red Demon Guild had been hunting the Borseyeer since morning. The guild would also start hunting Borseyear from today in order to get the Burning Rock Robe and profit from it.

However, the drop rate of the treasure chest was not very high. They knew that the odds were obviously narrower than the game, but getting the Burning Rock Robe was quite a hassle. The infinite circle was a quota of two per day during the countermeasure period, and at the end of the game, I increased it to four, and finally dropped the treasure chest after the fifty-third one.

(Greed sensors are scary!)

The rare material you don't want much will be released and the rare material you want won't be released. It would be disastrous if two clans were addicted to such a phenomenon. Perhaps the guild would join the Borsayer hunt to sell to those two clans as well.

''Ah, Tsutomu! When her appraisal skills reach level two, I'll join the clan! Get ready!

Amy has taken care of most of the work that had accumulated so far, and now she is teaching the people below her to improve their appraisal skills. This is why there is already one person whose appraisal level is the same as Amy's, and she is the second person who is currently working next to him.

I'm not sure. How much do you know about it?
'Hmm. Maybe two or three months? Tell the clan members I said hi!
Okay. I'll wait for you.
Yeah!

Amy grinned happily and walked behind the girl who was appraising her with her arms crossed.

''There you go, go for it, go for it. I can't wait to get to level two~
I'm afraid...

Tsutomu left the appraisal room with a wry smile on his face as Amy applied pressure while rubbing her subordinate's shoulder.
