70 vs Demon King Kanta ④

There are six enemies. According to the information I got from canon through Zion, we have two rank B Ogre Generals and four rank C Ogre Fighters. In contrast, our strength is Leila (Dhampir), Flora (Lilim), Guy (Werewolf), Iron (Living Mail), Red (Ogre Warrior), and Daquel (Dark Elf), plus me, with seven of our subordinates, three Dhampir, three Lilim, three Werewolves, three Dark Elves, and Three living mails.

We are outnumbered, but our enemies are two B-ranked.

I and my fellow Military members, including myself, would not be outdone even if we fought the B-ranked ones. However, we must not let our guard down. On the battlefield, you will be lured to death by those who are careless.

-- Those who can handle long-range attacks, fire a shot at the Ogre General!

--Iain, hold off an augmented general. The Living Mail takes three of them to hold off the remaining augmented generals.

--Lina, Guy, Red, and the werewolf, take out one rank C ogre each!

Arrows after arrows, Theon's orders were handed down in my brain - all of us followed one will and immediately took action.

I crossed my gaze with my companions who had been given the same order, and checked each of their relative demons.

Guy headed towards the demon on the left, the three werewolves headed towards the demon on the right, Red stepped towards the demon in front of me with a fierce smile on his face, and I sprinted towards the remaining demon.

The demon facing me was holding a rugged greatsword that glowed black in his hand.

A great black iron sword........ It's not the same size as the sword I loved to use when I was called a brave man, but I miss it.

'#$%&#!

With a roar, the demon swung its great sword down.

The main characteristic of the demon species is its power. Even though it's a hand armor gifted to Sion, I don't feel like catching the great sword that is unleashed from that power.

I lightly leap backwards to avoid the large sword swung down. I unleashed my beloved sword--Dearnslave's stab at the empty torso.

The movement of the demon has been seen so closely for the past six months that it is disgusting. The movement of the demon in front of me, unfortunately, must be said to be a degraded version of the demon I've been watching - Red.

After that, I avoided the forceful attacks that the demon unleashed and continued to steadily inflict damage.

 --[Slash]!

It was about three minutes after the start of the battle that the sharp slash I fired with a breath of spirit slashed the demon's head off.

Having defeated one demon, I looked around and checked the situation.

The wizened Guy's face twisted at the fact that I beat him to it, and Red bluntly said, "You! I can't wait to die! You lost! And he is taking it out on the demon in front of him.

Those two would have no problem leaving them alone; the three werewolves are also toying with the ogres with their quickness. Iron withstood the attack of the Ogre General while being covered by Layla and Flora... The three living mails relative to the other Ogre General, one of which had fallen into a half-destroyed state.

Is that where I should follow up?

I walk around behind the Oni General (Ogre General), who single-mindedly swings his golden stick at the Living Mail.

 --[Slash]!

"What--? Huh? Why is there a human race in the mix?

The demon general only turns his head and shoots me a look of hatred as he slashes at me from behind.

The enemy is also a subordinate........ They're just a formidable rank B demon, but their threat level is even greater. I tighten my grip on the beloved sword in my hand.

'd*mn it! d*mn those tinnies!

Did Theon send you? Theon has a tendency to put my life before his own and to make the rest of his people, especially those who are not in his household, expendable.

If possible, I don't want to see any more of my comrades die. If that's the case, what I can do - is to bury the demon general in front of me as quickly as possible.

I continued my attack on the demon general who was relentlessly attacking the living mail.

  ◆

 Thirty minutes later.

The three companions scattered their lives and were able to bury all of their enemies.

All of the subordinates were safe. The ones who scattered their lives were the Living Mail, the Dark Elf, and the Werewolf. They all served as shields to protect their subordinates and scattered their lives.

Sion said, 'Life is equal? Idiot. 'Life has a priority, too.'

I don't believe that I am equal to all life either. But I want to save the lives I can protect. Is it hypocrisy to think that this is the case?

I want to be stronger. At least, I can save the lives of my friends that I can reach.......

Before the sentimentality could sink in, the order was given by Sion.

--Wearwolf. Search the interior of the dominion area.

Following Theon's orders, two werewolves invade the interior of the dominion area.

--The Demon Lord is absent. Resume your invasion of the ruling domain. Continue the invasion as far as you can.

We followed Theon's order and resumed our invasion of the Dominion Territory.

(Theon's perspective)

Organ General, that was a strong one.
As strong as they are, they're tough as nails.

Kanon and I discuss the fight we just had together.

'Will Red eventually become an augmented general, too?
'Hmmm, what do you think? I think Mr. Red will evolve into a Braver rather than a General, oh.

According to the canon, you can't arbitrarily choose where your subordinates evolve to, and it reflects your previous experience. To give a very clear example, a goblin who uses the bow a lot will evolve into a goblin archer, and a goblin who uses the axe a lot will evolve into a goblin fighter.

If you are in a commanding position, you will evolve into a general type that excels in offense and defense, and if you are a brainy person - if you are all about attacking, you will evolve into a braver type.

Even though I want an Ogre General under my command, it would be foolish to leave the command to Red. At least, if another Ogre's subordinate exists........

''What do you think are the chances of creating another Ogre with the Random Creation?
Ummm ... that's less than 1%, isn't it?
I wonder if the ogre is going to attack us...
Even if they attacked us, wouldn't it be impossible to make them drink the Bloodstone Cup out of it?
If I just cut him to the bone...
I'm picturing an ogre resisting to death.
Yeah.

While I was having a series of sterile conversations with canon, Lina and the others were making good progress in their invasion of the controlled territory, and Chloe and the other members of the separate team were also steadily carrying out my orders.
