71 vs Demon King Kanta ⑤

It was the tenth day since we resumed our invasion of the Demon King Kanta's controlled territory.

We arrived at the innermost level, the seventh level.

The number of enemies was gradually decreasing, and now we didn't see any brats anymore. In my experience, the decrease in the number of low-ranked demons is proof that the opponents are no longer comfortable.

There is a possibility that the Demon King Kanta will abandon this control area - there are cases where he is waiting in the innermost part to protect the [True Core]. We aimed at the innermost part of the controlled area with a slow step while being wary of our surroundings.

Fifteen hours later, after two breaks.

In the midst of the desolate wilderness, large rocks blocked our path and we were forced to make many detours through seven levels before we arrived at an open space.

 Is this the deepest place?

At the back of the cut-out space, a crude hut could be seen. The [True Core] would be inside that hut.

Although I'm tempted to rush to the hut, in order to reach the hut it seems that we need to defeat the countless demons that stand in front of us.

The number of demons standing in the way - there are more than 50 of them. A rank B Ogre General. A few Ogre Bravers can be seen as well.

What do we do........? I was forced to make a choice in the face of the crowd of demons that stood in the way.

 (Theon's perspective)

Lina and the others are confronted by a horde of over 50 demons.

Even through the screen of my smartphone, I can feel the tension in Lina and the others.

It would be foolish to let them rush in like this. The biggest advantage of a guardian is that there's no limit to the number of them. Although Lina and the others may be superior in terms of individual quality, a number of subordinates will die if they are matched head on.

Are these demons the order of the Demon King Kanta? He sent only a murderous glance at Lina and the others, and didn't move an inch from the spot.

If we go back a little further we found a pathway surrounded by large rocks.

Let's take away from their advantage first.

Leaving some of the dispatchers behind, I give orders to Lina and the others to back down to the path.

Then, I give orders to the remaining dispatch -- Daquel and the two dark elves.

-- shoot through the ogre in front of them!

Daquel and the others drew their bows and fired steel arrows at the ogre in front of them.

Three steel arrows pierced the body of the ogre.

Now, how does it come out?

If it's a game, this action - it's called 'fishing'. The act of catching only one fish out of a group. But this world is real. The ogre doesn't run on AI, and just like me, Kanta, who is monitoring the situation from a bird's eye view, gives the ogre clear orders with his will.

The best is a pattern in which only one of them, shot through with a bow and arrow, will attack, or they will continue to wait in place and continue to receive the bow and arrow. The chances of that happening would be equal to zero.

The worst case scenario would be for everyone to come at once, but it's a lot better than attacking from here and getting surrounded on all sides. We're going to defeat them all anyway.

The choice the Demon King Kanta made - about 20 ogres were closing in on Daquell and the others who released their bows. Quickly, Daquell and the others move to the pathway where their subordinates are waiting.

Half of them turned away? You're halfway there. Were you wary of turning everyone in and taking away the [True Core]?

Well, that's okay. This is as far as I can go. I guess I'll just have to trust in the power of Lina and the others.

 (Lina's perspective)

As the sprinting daquels rushed past me, more than 20 ogres were closing in on me as they chased after the daquels, curling up in a cloud of dust.

Taking into account that they wielded weapons, there were two giant ogres side by side. Theon's plan worked beautifully, and the ogres' advantage in numbers was lost. We formed a formation with Iron in the front line and prepared to intercept the oncoming ogres.

Leila and the rest of her magic-wielding friends unleash their magic on the oncoming ogres, but the momentum of the 20-plus ogres does not stop. Soon after, the gold rod swung by the ogre and the shield held by Iron emit a violent collision sound.

''No attacks on the ogre on the right--[Sleep]

The smiling haze that Flora released lulled one ogre into sleep.

I thrust a darned slave through the side of the iron and stabbed the ogre's torso as it swung its gold bar down.

'#&%--'

The ogre's screams were shut down as the ice bullets released by Layla were sucked into the screaming ogre's large mouth. I take the opportunity to reap the ogre's torso, and Guy thrusts his sharp toe into the ogre's throat as he steps on the tatara.

Strategy and coordination - everything intertwines beautifully.

I don't feel like I'm going to lose.

With a strange sense of elation, I buried the approaching ogres one by one.

 Three hours later.

The number of men on the front line was limited due to the narrow path, so we continued to take turns resting and intercepting the approaching demons.

 What's wrong?

I cut down the ogre in front of me and feel uncomfortable.

How many of them is this one? I alone have lightly buried 20 of them - and yet, countless demons were waiting in front of me in front of my vision.

The strategy is perfect........ When the Ogre General came to the front line on the way, one of our companions, a werewolf under our command, scattered its life, but the battle situation should always be in our favor.

Even while resting.......how long will the attacks of the ogres continue?

As I stared at the swarm of demons spreading out beyond my vision, I felt a twinge of unease.

 (Theon's perspective)

'Hmm? Canon. How many demons have Lina and the others defeated?
I'm not sure if I'm counting, but I'm pretty sure we've taken out 60 of them at our pace.

Right? Then why-- why aren't there fewer demons?

--Guy. Just climb the side rocks.

Under orders, Guy climbs up the large boulder that forms the pathway, rock climbing style.

 Sounds about right.

Borrowing Guy's point of view from high up, I checked the far ahead - the hut that seems to contain the 【Makira】.

Then, I was able to confirm that the demons were coming out of the hut.

After that, after checking for another 10 minutes, I could see a total of 7 demons appearing from the hut.

Infinite pops from the hut? Nonon. This is not a game world. Such facilities don't exist, at least not at the creation B stage.

Then what is the identity of the hut where the demons are born?

The answer is - the Transference Device.

Perhaps there is a "Transference Device" installed inside the hut, and the transfer destination is the Demon King Kanta's headquarters. The Demon King Kanta is probably continuing to create and send demons busily.

 It's a foolish plan.

''Canon. What CP do I need to create an ogre?
The Demon King of Demons is 80.

An ogre's creation CP is 80, and the CP of the golden rod the ogre is equipped with is.......80? Since none of them are equipped with armor except for the General the cost per ogre is 160.

Since Chloe and the others released an additional realm of control the number of realms that the Demon Lord Kanta controls is seven. The Demon Lord Kanta's level is 7, which means the Demon Lord Kanta's maximum CP is 1,400, which means it can recover 140 per hour.

In other words, if he defeats one or more of them every hour, his strength (CP) will be reduced.

And Lina and the others were burying the demons at a rate of one demon every three minutes.

In other words, the Demon King Kanta's strength is declining at an accelerated rate, and the demons that emerge from that hut are by no means infinite pops, etc. It's not clear how much of their original stock was there.......but if we continue to defeat them, they'll run out at some point.

--I know it's going to be painful, but just keep destroying those demons on the spot! One day it will come to an end.

He gave orders and a shout-out to his subordinates, who would be anxious to see the goal.

At the same time, he gives Chloe and the others an important order.

 Six hours later.

Lina and her men have won the battle to the death, and there is no one to stand in their way.
