They found us! It's in the Rabi Desert, southeast of Sandra's kingdom!

I was leisurely taking my breakfast when suddenly the door to the dining room opened and Leanne and Paula jumped in. A look of "Yay!" on their faces. A smile stuck to his face as he said.

''There was a stone pillar in an ancient ruin in the desert long ago that had six magic stones embedded in it, just like the ruins of Nirya! I hear it's swallowed up by the desert and under the sand now!
Hmm, that's good.

Munching on my muggy breakfast toast, I ask Lapis to pour me some fruit juice. Breakfast is the source of energy for the day. We have to get it right. I don't have time to listen to nasty stories in the morning.

"Put your dirty underwear on.
I'm listening. The Rabi Desert?

Duh, you remembered that. I think the temperature of everyone's eyes at the table has dropped considerably, but if you react, you lose. We'll just have to keep a blank expression on our faces and get through it.

South of Mismid, across the Great Sea of Trees, is the scorching hot country of Sandra, the Rabi Desert to the southeast. The Rabi Desert is just to the southeast.
After the ocean, we're going to the desert. You're not harassing me, are you, that doctor...?

They say you can look into the future, so it's possible that you're looking into the present moment. I stared at the ceiling somehow.
Well, after 5,000 years, the terrain will probably change, so I wouldn't harass them by aiming that far. ........I would like to think so, but for some reason I can't accept that. It's because that doctor's smirk appears in my brain.

"So, do you want to go to those ruins?
Yes. We have to find the heritage of an ancient civilization. The library is a good place to start.

Leanne is ready to go. I'm honestly not keen on the idea. I glance at Shesca, who's waiting by my side.

"Yes?
'No, to think that we're going to have another one like you...'
It's all good in the bottle.
All right, shut up, son.

 I'm getting a headache....
What should I do? I really don't have to go that far to get it, I guess. But the reason I can't do that is because of Lean's promise, but the destruction of the ancient kingdom by Frase in the message the doctor left behind...that thing is stuck.
It's not a problem if you're overthinking it, but it's possible that when the time comes, you'll need the power of 'Babylon'. You don't want to regret it when the time comes....

''Alright, let's go then. Sheska, get the 'garden' ready.
Yes, Master.

Leanne and Paula are happy to see me, and everyone else looks like they're going to do it, too, and leave their seats. I guess I'm going back to my room to get ready.
Well, in the "garden", the empty house I transferred from the riffle was still there. I thought I could use it as a vacation home, but it's going to need some work. The house itself isn't damaged, and it's reasonably large enough to be useful.
Well, I'll have to do some work on this trip.

The Garden departed from Belfast and headed towards the Kingdom of Sandra, south of Misguided.
The Garden's speed is probably the same as an airplane. The reason why I think so is because I've never been on an airplane in my life. It's not that I'm afraid of heights or anything, it's just that I've never had a chance to fly.

"It'll take about four hours to get to our destination.

I can't decide if that's fast or slow, but I've got quite a bit of time. So, let's clear out the empty house while we're at it.
I unlock the empty house that has shifted to the corner of the garden and go inside. Yeah, it's not in bad shape. It's not in a bad state, just needs to be cleaned up and tidied up.

I'll clean upstairs then.
I'll take care of the kitchen area and the dining room.
I'll be cleaning up the living room downstairs, that I will.
''Then I'll do the front door and hallway. Mr. Fuyu, please repair the broken parts and improve the water and lights, etc.

Everyone crisply decided on their roles. Youmina told me and I took a hand. I see, there is no water in this place. Huh? Wait a minute, there's a canal running through the garden, right? If it wasn't, the plants here would have died out long ago.
I went to the monolith that controls the Garden and asked Sheska about it, and she told me that there's an artifact that the doctor created that produces water.
When I asked her to show me around, there is a small fountain, from which the water gushes out and flows into a canal, which seems to go into the Garden. That water is purified and returns to the fountain again, I was told. .........isn't that a permanent engine......? No, let's not think about it. The laws of physics are meaningless before magic.

'Is this a fixed amount of water?'
No, some of it evaporates. When the water level is low, the water level is increased and then returned to normal.

So it's OK to draw water from here?

Can you drink it?
There's no harm in it.

Well, I'll have to use it. We'll use the same technique we used for the hot spring in Silvermoon and place a short pipe at the fountain. I'll put the drainage pipe at the end of the waterway in the Garden. I've heard it's going to be cleansed from here.
I went to Linse, who was cleaning around the kitchen, and chased the water storage barrels out and made a sink out of "modeling". The mithril sink gleams dazzlingly. A faucet is attached to it, and a fountain is connected to it with a "gate". Naturally, the drain is also connected to the drainage pipe.
When she turned on the tap, water came out. Lindsay was surprised at first, but eventually she learned to turn the tap on and off by herself.
I'll make a toilet for you as well. It's a flush type toilet. I couldn't leave any stone unturned. Of course, I didn't connect the drain to the toilet at home.
And I made a bathroom in the same way. It's also equipped with a shower. I think this is a good idea.
Now all that's left is the lighting. If the light is enchanted, the user's magical power will keep the light on for several hours. The light itself is not a magic that consumes so much magic power.
That's about it for now, isn't it? Speaking of which, I don't see Leanne and Paula, where have they gone?
Two? I looked for Leanne and Paula in front of the monolith, and then Amber, Coral, Black Day and Sheska. They were all staring at the screen on the monolith.

'What are you doing?'
We've found something troublesome. Probably someone in distress. We're right before the Kingdom of Sandra, but we're already in the desert. No one passes through here.

The ground appeared on the screen. In the desert, a few people in tattered sun cloaks, with camels loaded with their belongings, walked lazily and powerlessly in the middle of the desert. There are about ten of them? It seems like too little luggage for that, though.

'If you're in distress, aren't you in trouble if you don't help?
'How? Are you going to reveal the existence of this "Babylon"? To the lost and found. What if it was a bad person or a hoarder? It's not normal for me to be going through this stuff. That's what I meant when I said it was a hassle.

I see. It's certainly troublesome. Well, you can judge whether they're bad guys or not with Yumina's magical eye, but they're not all good guys either. But just because there's one bad guy, doesn't mean he's the only one left in the desert.

We'll get him out of there. If we don't bring him to the Garden, we can send him to Mismid or Belfast at the Gate.

It's just a matter of how to make contact. If he shows up right in front of you, you'll be wary of him.

You better hurry up and be quick about it.
What?

On the screen that Sheska pointed to, an image of a giant monster appeared out of the sand in front of the distressed person.
What the hell was that? Bugs! It's a giant caterpillar, or maybe it's a worm. The top part of the worm is all mouths, and its sharp fangs are sprouting 360 degrees inside.

It's a sand crawler. It's a sand crawler, a monster of the desert that swallows its prey with the sand.

Lean stares at the screen and mumbles the identity of the monster. In the video, three of the people in distress are wielding swords and axes and facing the monster, but they don't look like they have a good minute. They don't seem to have any wizards, and their skills are not very good either. It's only a matter of time before they get beaten.

''I'm going!

I opened the "gate" and danced towards the ground.
It emerges from the skies above the Sandcrawler and rains down a rain of Brunhild bullets. These aren't just any bullets. They were explosive bullets with 'Explosions' applied to them. Sandcrawler twisted around while spraying eerie body fluids.
Landing on top of the desert, he focuses his magical power on his right hand and chants the magic directly from Linze.

'Water, come, limpid sword blade, Aquacutter.'

The blade of the water pressure released from the sandcrawler's neck (?) bounced around. Ugh, I'm doing this to myself, but it's gross....
White, green, creepy liquid sprinkled from the severed surface, and slowly the Sole collapsed into the desert. Even so, it didn't die immediately, it continued to undulate and make sickening peristalsis, but eventually it stopped moving.
Uhee........ They say that eels and such can live for a while even if you drop their heads, but this is out of the picture. The next time I take it down, I'll burn it all to a crisp.
As I stowed Brunhild in the holster at my waist and frowned as I looked at Sandcrawler's corpse, one of the distressed people walked over to me. He held a long sword in his hand and his face was unrecognizable by the hood of his awning cloak. But it seemed to be a woman.

''........You are?''
'My name is Fuyao Mochizuki. I happened to find you guys, but I decided to intervene in the battle because I deemed it dangerous.
No, I appreciate it. You've been a big help. I'm Rebecca. I'm an adventurer.

He removed his hood, exposing his face to the sun. His tanned brown skin and ash colored hair was cut short around his shoulders.

''You're awesome. It's amazing that you could take out a monster like that in a flash.

A man with a battle axe came up behind Rebecca, removing his hood. He was a tall, stocky man in his early twenties with a stubble, tall and stout. Beside him, a boy who seemed to be younger than me was holding a sword and breathing on his shoulder.
I only glanced at him, but I got the feeling that the weapon wasn't right for him. That sword is too big for that rather petite boy.
As I was thinking about this, the boy threw down his sword and ran over to me, kneeling at my feet.

''Ah, um! The magic you just used is water-based magic, right! So, then could you get the water out, please!

You flinch for a moment at the sudden offer, but you quickly understand. There's no water, is there? Crossing the desert in that situation would be suicidal.

I'm sorry, sir. "I'm sorry, but I'm wondering if you could provide me with some water. I don't have any money right now, but I'll find a way to repay you. So....

When I didn't reply easily, Rebecca-san cuts me off, as if she's thinking about it.

'No, I don't mind. I was just wondering if you had something to offer me. 'Well, let's just make it up.'
What?

He took out a palm-sized block of iron from Storage and used Modeling to create a large gold mine. In it, he used water attribute magic to create several fist-sized ice cubes, then called up water.

'Oh!'

The others heard the sound of water and came towards us all at once. With the rest of the iron, I made a simple cup for them and gave it to them.
They reached out and gulped down the water. He was really thirsty, wasn't he?
Eventually I noticed something strange. There were ten people in total in distress. All of them were women except for the boy from earlier and the man with the axe. Furthermore, the remaining seven women, with the exception of Rebecca, had something in common. It was a large, shiny, black collar around the necks of all seven of them. Could this be.........
When Rebecca noticed me staring quizzically at the collar, she opened her mouth gravely.

That's right. Yes, they are slaves. We stole them from the slavers.''

....Huh? Was Leanne's prediction a big winner? Were the people who saved you bandits or something...?
